On Friday 3 more British troops were killed in Afghanistan by the Americans. This happens on a regular basis, do the American troops still think the year is 1776 or are there not enough Arabs to satisfy their lust for blood?

What scares conservatives the most about this group of people?

Is it their willingness to change in the face of adversity?

Their willingness to embrace new ideas and new things?

The drive to look beyond trivial things which most now know are 'wedge' issues?

On the Sunday program (channel 9 26/08/2007) It was revealed that While Labour was publicly supporting the Liberals plan to assist the Aboriginal children, behind the scenes, they were actually going out to communities and instructing aboriginal community members not to cooperate. This is a serious issue. How can Labout play polical points games with the welfare of aboriginal children? Any one who missed that report on sunday, I suggest you watch it to get some perspective

Is he blaming the American public for wanting to pull out of an intractable war--which he says could've been won--if we have had only stayed until at least through 1985?

Because I get the sense that if we pull out now, the GOP and their supporters will not only be blaming Democrats for leaving, but everyone else who was against this war from the get-go.

Is this a fair use of government strategy, or are we just looking at another attempt by this failed administration to shift blame onto someone else for their failed little oil 'enterprise'?

that you end up crying to him over trivial stuff in your life? I feel so stupid about crying - this issue doesnt even involve the case. But, I trust him and feel like I can depend on him.

What will he think of me?

Is there a "Force Recon contract" that is something like the Army’s 18 X-Rays for SF candidates, or the Ranger option for the Ranger wannabes. Meaning that there’s no guarantee that you will get selected, but you are given the chance to “try out” after boot camp and AIT. If no then what is the road to becoming a Force Recon

Let's say that I somehow accidentally seriously injure someone. Now, this injury is that of which the average person would survive. However, this particular person whom I injured isn't a very happy person, and has no will to live, thereby succumbing to his/her injury and dieing. However, if they had a reason to live, they would have easily recovered.
My question is, in this situation, could I be blamed for their death, or would that be considered, in part, to be suicide? I have a feeling the law wouldn't be on my side, but what about technicallity or morally?

Okay, we all know that TV always shows security guards as old retired man sitting in a gatehouse or sat in a hut on a building site or they are younger guys who are "wannabe policemen" and are usually thicker that a plank of wood.

Sadly, in 905 of security, this is true. But there are exeptions.

Consider that since the introduction of licencing, the wannabes and diddery old men are becomming a thing of the past.

Just check your local shooping centre and you will see a professional team of dedicated staff, who are well trained and probably detect more crime than your average bobby.

Since the police no longer routinly attend intruder alarms on buildings, offices factories etc, some companies rely on private security to respond to an activation. That officer has to go and check for intruders, secure premises, preserve evidence and so on.

So come on, lets have a cheer for Security Guards and next time you see one, say thankyou...

I Observed this practice, when this team of US spec-op.(unit unknown, they dont have patches on their camou uniform)were teaching soldiers scout ranger/law enforcers.assault maneuvers,.....the almost/ half day firing exercise in the police range...have produced enormous amount of SS109 rounds littered all over the firing line...then when the exercise were finished,,,i was surprised that the spec op guys, started to pick up all the spent shells, removed the targets, picked up empty water bottles, placed it in garbage bins, except the ss109 shells, which was placed on this little crates and placed on their service vehicle...all of this transpired while the local lazy asswipes were puffing cigarettes, and pocketing unused ss109 rounds, not even a single asswipe helped in cleaning up the range....my buddies and i could have helped in tidying up the place but were not part of the exercise.
