I'm Canadian, married to a Korean woman. When we got married, she was stripped of Korean citizenship once she got her Canadian one. But in Canada, they see her as a dual citizen. We got into a debate about which countries offer this dual citizenship. She thinks its rare, but I think it's common and that Koreans are too conservative. Anyone know the facts?

They refuse to take any initiative. They barely have Baghdad under control, much less any part of the rest of the country. Their government, according to our own analysts, is incapable of sustaining itself without being propped up by the U.S.

What has happened in the past four years that proves that they have any right to ask us to keep supporting them, or that we're ever going to be able to realistically expect them to step up to the plate and give us a return on our investment?

Tips for waiters, comsmotolgoists, cab drivers, simple tips in cups such as Starbucks, and more are taxed by the government before you get your share! This is wrong and what I consider stealing! If you want this to be changed like I do then sign my petition at:

How will it all get started? No matter how much Bush and Cheney want it, the U.S. Senate is unlikely to authorize the bombing of Iranian installations out of the blue. Unless there is some major disturbance in Iraq that can be blamed on Iran, Israel is likely to pull the trigger. It knows how to and has every motivation to do so. Once Israel drops the first bomb on an Iranian nuclear facility, as it did with Iraq's Osirak reactor in 1981, there is no return. Bushehr is likely to be the first target; other installations will follow. Iran will respond – how can it not? At a minimum, it will shoot missiles at Israel. It may or may not shoot at U.S. forces in Iraq initially, but given the U.S.-Israel "special relationship," there is no way the U.S. will stay out of the conflict. Many of Iran's targeted facilities are underground, and U.S. bombs will be needed to destroy them all. Once the U.S. enters the conflict, 150,000 U.S. troops in Iraq will be at risk of Iranian missiles

Hey,
I have this Politics+Law essay to complete and the issue it has to be is on whether the upper house at any level (state or national in a federal system) should be abolished because shouldn't a government with a majority in the lower house have the mandate to govern.

There's a pretty strict guideline of what's acceptable. All posters have to be run by a teacher, so nothing with curse words would be okay. Also, if someone thought of something that had to do with Borat, that'd be super popular.

I cannot tell you how angry I get when people defend illegal aliens. They tell me that they have as much right as I do to be in this country. It's a lie. They're illegal. They're all criminals. They have no place in this country. It's the sad truth all of you illegal-lovers out there. Does anyone else agree with me?

I'm considering my financial options for college and, wanting to keep my options open, feel obligated to at least examine what ROTC has to offer. What I want to know is what business majors, business being the career path I plan on following post-service, does ROTC offer. I must also admit that I don't fancy the idea of being shot at constantly so if you have any advice on what career to pursue that would be relatively safe, when compared to other military occupations, that would be helpful as well

Whats the policy today on tattoos in the navy? I have a couple on my forearm and he biggest one probably takes up half my arm. I live in San Diego California and wondered if they would turn me away. It seems like the only branch that would take me is the army and the army national guard, I am not big on joining them because they are more ground combat. Could there be a chance they would take me? Does it sometimes depend on the recruiter? Is there anyone who has gone to a recruiter lately and gotten turned down due to tattoos? None of them are racial or negative like they say in there policy. I have just heard different things. That sometimes they will take you if you can tell them the meaning of them and they arent negative in anyway. Please help.

Have you asked a question and/or reviewed a question pertaining to a specific issue where someone from "the other side" answered it profoundly? I'm not talking about smart, sarcastic or callous responses. I am referring to the answers that truely shed new light on a position which you vehemently and staunchly opposed?

I am not asking if they changed your views, simply put I am asking has it ever really made you stop and think about your OWN position on said issue?

Thoughts?

Lets just say that the war expenditures ended up bankrupting America - That the markets crashed because nations like Iran and others dumped the US dollar in favour of the Euro

That mass imigration from the south (Mexico) began to look more and more like an invasion -

That through a series of natural disasters and terror attacks the US military was now needed at home and could no longer press foriegn interests but the government of the US was left to bargin barter and pursuade other nations of it's wishes

That severe droughts and floods left the US importing foods from other nations for the first time in history

--------------

If this were the case - would you - ????????

The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.
If minimum wage increased, companies would begin to loose revenue/profit.
To make up for that, wouldn't prices begin to rise?
So.....do you agree that inflation would rapidly accelerate?

Can I reenlist for about 30 months?

I am in the Navy looking to extend for orders. I would like to enlist for an SRB but I still have some time on the books. The orders that I am going for require me to OBLISERVE to October of 2010. My command told me that I could only reenlist for one year increments starting from my EAOS which is July of 2008. So, according to them I would have to reenlist to July of 2011. Not that I have a problem with that other than there is this dangerous PRD starting in Feb of 2010 and then an EAOS of July 2011. Thats a lot of time to be sent somewhere "unexpected."
