While coming through the dial yesterday I heard a segment on the Limbaugh show that was at best a distortion of history, at worst a history revision to serve political purposes.

Limbaugh stated that JFK was a "communist fighter" and spoke about his administration fighting the communists in Vietnam.

JFK inherited Vietnam from Eisenhower. There were 2,000 "advisors" stationed in Vietnam when JFK took office. JFK's admin. sent over about 15,000 more advisors. By 1963, though,, JFK had asked McNamara to create a plan for their withdraw. JFK NEVER laid any plans for upwards of 450,000 troops being stationed in Vietnam, as later became the situation under LBJ.

JFK had mentioned more than once to his advisors that he saw little purpose for America fighting a serious war against the Viet Cong in a "jungle half a world away".\

JFK lived in an era of Soviet threat and expansion. JFK tried to use diplomacy and tough words to contain communism, and was cautious using troops.

Some say it was fine because those particular fish had come from a legal fish farm rather than having been caught in the wild illegally. Others think that whether the fish comes from a well-managed farm or is found in the wild, it is still endangered, and a poor choice for an environmental activist to have for a wedding dinner for hundreds of people.

What do you think?

I fear that...but I could still remember that Mondale lost in the 1984 presidential elections even though his vice was Geraldine Ferraro.

Maybe Hillary would win the Democratic Party's nomination because she's a woman...but will she ever get the ticket to the White House because of that?

We have both been through the minority struggles in the past same as other minorities and poor income whites. I think its time we put our past behind us and fight a new more important fight. That fight is against our leaders who send our poor and middle class children to get killed in a war we dont belong in. We also need change in our communities to promote ethnic acceptance and value. Who is with me?

I am looking specifically for laws concerning vehicle ownership, keeping, and motoring offences.

The reason I ask is that I am wondering whether it is a criminal offence to not register your vehicle (the DVLA V5 registration) and drive it on UK roads. Assuming you have tax, insurance, MOT, and a valid driving licence.

People have said it is illegal but try as I will I can't find the relevant UK law regarding this.

Thanks

This man has proved that politicians could be people who say the truth. He has proved that some of our congressmen follow their conscience. I love this guy. Anyone else who loves him?

PS: You don't have to be a republican in order to love him, but rather an American...WAIT! NO! You could love him even if you're not an American, but rahter a lover of truth!

Do stories like this bring you closer to saying 'YES' to bringing back Capital Punishment? Would you sign a petition to the PM supporting it?
