I take photos of statues, buildings, shops and general subjects. Sometimes normal candid photos of adults (never children).
The police leave me alone but 'security' oficers can be a problem. What powers do they have? Can they take the camera? If they ask for my name can I ask them for theirs first and the company they work for. I am thinking of having a recorder to record any insident and if they lay a hand on me then have them for asault.

The USA is so hated? the WHO ( not the rock band), the UN and several other world "Help" organizations have stated that with the US Government and American private donations combined means the USA gives more financial, food and Medical aid than all other nations combined. Is this the reason they are so hated? Please realize that this "Hate" goes back several generation and includes all presidents since FDR so don't Blame Clinton or Bush 1 &2.

They will get financial, legal and medical aid that citizens do not get. How can we allow this? This nation has been hijacked by communist lawyers who run the political system.

If this guy is considered a risk, is it ethical for the UK govt. to deport him to Italy where (presumably in the govt's opinion) he is just as likely to commit further murders?

Is it OK for him to be a threat to Italians (or any other group), as long as he's not a threat to Britons?

Are you, for or against the dodgey Human Rights Act?

Have you actually read it? It puts immigrant / foreign perpetraitors before UK victims of crime.

I got the OCS contract; go to basic then OCS.
I was thinking about changing the order of my job preferences. MI is my first pick followed by Infantry. I was considering changing infantry to my first pick... A captain told me they only like to pick people for Infantry Officers that are really gunhoe about it and have it as there first pick...Anyway, when I asked my recruiter if we could change it prior to me leaving for basic he said dont worry about it b/c u will get the chance to pick them again at basic. Whats the deal here???? Is there truth to this or are my preferences written in stone??

Want to find the value of my Uncles
extensive WW2 Memorabilia. My uncle was a journalist so it's a very extensive collection. I have metals, classifed documents down to every menu to airline tickets, ration stamps, letters back and forth between him and my aunt. Loads of pictures from every village he came in contact with even pictures of prisioners of War. The Pictures have village names on back of them. I believe I must have the most extensive collection of the China Burma Theater. I would like to find out what it is worth and would sell it to someone that would greatly cherish it. I am going to document and number every page of the collection so it would be clear as to what exactly I do have. There are about 4-5 bound volumes that are about 5 inches thick. Thanks to any info that can be provided me.
Sincerely, Val in NC

Just saw an ABC news brief online at www.yahoo.com that the U2 plane still is in operation in some undesignated capacity. Any idea as to what its role is today in the military? (especially given the advent of satellites)

There's a war against terror ... (which the oil companies and its shareholders are vehemently involved in)

There's a war against cancer, social anxiety, and ADHD (which the pharmaceutical companies are glad to be a part of)

Yet -- there is no war on homelessness. Why? says comedian George Carlin. Because there's no money in that cause.

How many of you believe this is true?
