If a judge, prosecutor, or magistrate asks you a question in court, are you required legally to answer it?
I understand that if you lie, then this would be perjury.

And if it is illegal to say nothing, what are the penalties of so doing?

I have always found the NYT and Washington Post to be papers of note with hard hitting reporting and stories. BTW, both papers have had editorials SUPPORTING Iraq. But a paper is MUCJ more than its editorials...

Yes, I'm an American, and I care deeply about what's going on beyond our borders. But it's no surprise that most Americans have no idea what's on the outside.

See here for an example: http://archives.cnn.com/2002/EDUCATION/11/20/geography.quiz/

Question: Why are people in this country so ignorant, they couldn't pass a basic civics quiz, let alone know much about the rest of the world? Why do silly things like celebrity hijinks matter more? And what does this mean for the future of the republic?

I am really confused with wether my boss is flirting with me or just being friendly:
He winks at me
He walks past me, looks me in the eye and then smiles
I passed him a recept the other day and he practically took my hand with it (Slid his hand down my hand)as he looked me in the eye and said "Thanks Skyla"
Walked past me the other day and quickly dragged hus hand across my shoulder
Another co-worker who my boss has been friends with for a long time said my boss told her he cares alot about me
Asked me to come up to his office and had a huge chat with me about random things like if i use protection, what would i do if i got pregnant, What i do in my spare time, Would i like more responsibilites with my job? is everythign alright?
Said when they sell the buisness one day that they are taking me with them
Always commenting me, saying im a bloody good worker.
Whne i went on holiday, he told me to be naughty but be carefull.

Sooo is he flirting??

I believe that so many societies are into conclusion to think they ways of living is better than the rest. As others worship their currencies and do nothing but work, others pray and pray for better life here and after. However, WE DO HAVE individuals in present day, who believes one society has to go, using years of virus as a weapon is not good enough. List societies (countries) you select to be nuked, and WHY. I believe that we spend MILLIONS of money on developing it, and maintaining it, why not use it for its purpose.

Personally, I feel blessed to have been born in the U.S.
What are you willing to do for the U.S. - Run for a political office (on a local, state or national level); volunteer your time to work on a political campaign, accept a loss of some of your civil rights to improve Homeland Security; join the military, participate in Teach America, volunteer for a charity (local or national), give money to charities - anything else you are willing to do?

Do you think it is ok to complain about problems in the U.S., but take no action to improve things?

When I select the Best Answer, I will tell you what I have done for my country.

I think Britain will have a big mess to deal with in a few years. You let all sorts of people over and have no control over your borders.

My friend came from Russia and said his passport was looked for second and that was the only requirement!

I think you will have much problem with Islam and black people, so why do you did this? The goverment tells you it is for pensions but you will have to continually expand the population forever to counter this.

I like England, but you are too friendly people for own good!

I read is a police science book that really a 9mm bullet is a "weak" round and that's what most cops on the street seem to use now in their Glock. Police officers used to use the old .38 which must be a more powerful round with more stopping power. In the book, they showed a suspect that had been shot up to and hit 9 times with a 9mm and the dude was still standing. They obviously didn't hit the heart or brain, just basically flesh wounds and the suspect survived. I think if I was a cop, i would want a firearm that would bring down a suspect in one round like a .45 or a .44 magnum, however, I don't think cops are allowed to use these powerful guns, unless you are Dirty Harry of course. Also, can they use a .357 magnum or are those too powerful for the street as well. Myth or legend?

Also, I read that the .45 was invented around WWII because the rounds used back then didn't have stopping power agnist the Japanese getting shot but still moving.

It was considered as a case of suicide but my friend was not a loser that would commit a suicide, he was full of life and had a genuine hate for iraqis, he sounded somewhat troubled but that might be because he had some trouble with his commanding officer. What can I do if I suspect that it wasn't a suicide?
