And here's one by Mark Twain:

I know exactly what you're talking about, even though i haven't seen that video. It's an anti-military agit-prop using your soldiers in the most unflattering way, doing what they're prohibited from doing in the sandbox- so you can start making noise about getting us out of there. Because they just randomly decide to break into houses and kidnap people for no reason........ Got-cha!

You always get those who say the world has been saved by having wars, such as WW2. What they don't mention is that the allies did not start it and of course you have to fight back when attacked. That does not detract from the fact that war is evil and should be avoided by any civilised nation.
In relation to the present situation I think #8 is the best.

the ppl you quote have spent their time and effort doing something about what they see as wrong or evil. rather than make shirts with slogans on them, why not get more involved and try and make a change we can all live with?

to be sure that won't be easy but in the end i'm sure you'll feel better.

'what's so' for one is just as easily 'so what' for another - Werner Erhart

As much as I don't agree with what you're doing, I'd go with number 7 because I definitely agree with that.

Ummm, what did we gain from the Korean and Vietnam wars?

I was all for the war on terrorism, not the war on Iraq.

Well, aside from ending fascism, communism, dictatorships, and imperialism, war never solved anything, right libs???

Edit- to angelpuppyeyes- "what did we gain from the Korean and Vietnam wars?" Are you f***ing kidding me??? I know that the Cold War wasn't really "cold"...we stood up to the communist's imperialsitsic dreams and stopped them wherever they went. I ask you this...what would the world look like if the United States of America had not defended those nations?
