No..It's not socialism, it's just insurance against masssive medical bills. Exactly why won't it work? Is it because insurance doesn't work? It's a simple concept. Insurance pools have been around for centuries. The larger the pool, the less per each insured. A publicly owned non-profit corporation could easily cover everyone. Private insurance companies don't insure everyone. Seperate the INSURANCE from the CARE question. Would you rather have quality coverage at a low price or no coverage at any price if the CARE situation remained exactly the same as it is now...37th in the world?

I have seen that documentary and another, and they pose some serious questions. They present a strong argument and it certainly seems as though a lot of questions remain unanswered.Of course to believe it is a big step, but who out there does?Who thinks these issues need to be brought to the mainstream public's attention so they can decide for themselves? And who should be held accountable?I for one think the American people deserve some answers, and for the truth to be left hidden would be an unforgivable disgrace to the people who died there, and also for the people who have died as a result of the consequences.

I'm thinking about joining the military when I graduate so I can serve my country, get some experience in life, and pay off my student loans. I'll be about $30,000 in student loan debt. Will they pay this all off? Also, what rank will I go in as enlisted. Thanks

ps...it's a bachelor degree I'll be getting.

Even though they were communists, pagans, sexual deviants (free love), had children out of wedlock and did MASSIVE amounts of drugs - they still promoted one thing that Christians do:
"peace man".

The God i know, the Old Testament God would have Smited them in the middle of their first sit-down. But im not so sure about New Testament God. Perhaps he would have shrugged his shoulders and said "Hey. they are ****** up, but they get it - i guess" and went back to doing whatever it was he was doing.

My question is not serious. Though, i already have my mind made up about hippies and God, i want to know what you guys think. Just for fun. What do you say?

I am just looking for the legal factor on this. My ex-wife willingly let me take nude photos of her. She and I went our seperate ways and I am just curious if it is illegal to put them on a website. Not that I am going to, but she told me I would go to jail and it was a federal crime. Can anyone give me insight on that and what the law says. I live in SC.

There has been a committee appointed to follow up on soldiers after they leave active service, and use VA health care, to see if they actually get good health care as veterans.
As a vet do you have any suggestions or complaints about
getting your health care needs addressed and remedied?

Ive never been to America, but the Americans i have met travelling invariably end up talking politics. They have said that Americans in America tend to be anti-Bush and the Iraq war, despite what anyone else might be suggesting.Except for the hillbilly states, which unfortunately have rather large voting populations. Is this accurate?

as I read many of the Q&A on yahoo I conclude we have some pretty stupid people here in the U,S, have they forgotten the men who have died fighting for this country and to uphold its ideas and way of life? many want a one world gov, others want to let any and all come to our country and so many of them want to live on welfare when they come here , evidently these people don't work for a living and pay half of ther salary or earnings in taxes to support these free loaders, is it so important to be P.C. that you would give away your birth right? our forefathers came to this country with nothing and damned near starved to death in the process, and since then our men have died to preserve this nation, what kind of stupidity is this wanting to accept people who have nothing to offer not even their allegience, and many will destroy us if they can, you must know America is getting weaker daily.

Lets for one second quit debating about the temperature steel melts, the temperature a hydrocarbon based fuel burns, controlled demolitions, missiles, and other common points of contention…

Everything the Bush administration has touched has been a dismal failure. Off the top of my head, I can not even think of anything that the Bush administration has done that I would call a hallmark of success.

The administration couldn’t even get its intelligence right when Iraq was invaded. Once in Iraq, the military is under equipped and is in a losing battle against insurgents. The administration had days notice for Hurricane Katrina…what could have been a shining moment was a terrific example of what not to do. I could go on and on about failures of the Bush administration.

I have two questions for the conspiracy theorists who believe 9-11 was an inside job:

My husband was discharged from the Navy for simply being drugged at a party. I think the Navy was wrong to discharge him seeing as the MA's submitted a statement to his C.O. stating they believed that my husband did not willingly injest the drugs. He was given 5 days to appeal to court martial, all of which were working days (he worked day check). He did not have time to travel the 4 hours necessary to go home (Connecticut from Maine) to gather evidence to appeal. Is it possible to get the discharge reversed?
