Well some people believe hes been a fantastic president. I'm assuming the reason is that he's done absolutely nothing as president to hurt them, therefore hes great. Anyone who cares a little about those other than themselves can see hes done nothing but hurt the majority of the United states. 9/11 is an odd situation and I find myself wondering if the president knew about the plot to attack the trade center and did nothing purposely. President bush stayed at camp david on his vacation during the catastrophe in new orleans for 2 days after it happened. Bush cares that much about the people of new orleans, and he cares that much about the rest of us in the United states. Over 400 vacation days and rising...

If 9/11 never have happened, I think he would have been more cooperative with the Democrats. Because he lost the popular vote, he would have been fighting like hell to legitimize his presidency so I believe we would have seen a lot of compromise.

Unfortunately, 9/11 did happen and you see the results.

better probably than he is now, but i think he'd still be pretty horrible!!! i mean, come on, he's george w. bush, he went into iraq for reasons that had nothing to do with 9/11, so he'd still be like the worst president ever!!! just slightly not as bad as what he is now.

No. He used 9/11 to show that he has the will to fight back even though he has completely screwed up the war.

If 9/11 didn't happen, he would have had a head start in joining the illiberals to flood the country with illegal aliens.

I think he's been a great President, but 9/11 never happening would have made a lot of people's lives a lot easier.

I'm sure he would have found something else to stuff up. It might even be that Iraq has saved him from making more mistakes.

Absolutely not. If anything, his litany of flaws would not have been as noticeable. That doesn't make him better, just less observed.

No, he would have still made a lousy president. There isn't anything that would improve him.
