as I read many of the Q&A on yahoo I conclude we have some pretty stupid people here in the U,S, have they forgotten the men who have died fighting for this country and to uphold its ideas and way of life? many want a one world gov, others want to let any and all come to our country and so many of them want to live on welfare when they come here , evidently these people don't work for a living and pay half of ther salary or earnings in taxes to support these free loaders, is it so important to be P.C. that you would give away your birth right? our forefathers came to this country with nothing and damned near starved to death in the process, and since then our men have died to preserve this nation, what kind of stupidity is this wanting to accept people who have nothing to offer not even their allegience, and many will destroy us if they can, you must know America is getting weaker daily.

I see we have some patrotic Americans on line who want to preserve our country, that makes my heart smile,
but, we also have some bleeding hearts who are willing to give our country away, maybe they feel being P,C, is more important,also I am not against immigration it is fine but, let the immigrants who come here earn their own way, no welfare nor free medical, nor education at tax payers expense,no one gave our forefathers all of these freebies, they earned everything they got through blood and sweat,

for the couple of so called native Americans, I will go back to where I am from if you will do the same, my grandmother was seneca&cherokee, and she even agrees that the white man improved the Americas, when as before the Indians ran around naked trying to find some wild game to eat if hunting was bad they starved, and if you are so adamant about being free as they were then you can always go to the Amazon area as there is plenty of room for you there. no visa required, but youwon't get your white man paid allowance every month, nor a McDonalds on the street corner as they have no streets,or McDonalds,so don't give me this B,S, that we should be ashamed of anything, our forefathers kicked sh,, out of you and took your land, you didn't just give it away as some whites are trying to do now, also these so called goody goood two shoes probable never had to work for a living and barely make ends meet after paying these damned taxes to support some lazy immigrant,plus the freebies thsy get,

This country was founded by immigrants and that should tell you everything. George Washington once said that immigrants should always be allowed in this nation. If ilegal people had the right to work legally they could get better paying jobs and pay taxes and wouldnt need welfare. Im pretty sure they would pay taxes and pay for your social security if they could become residents or at least get a z visa. Plus illegals do pay taxes, Ive never seen a line at a store that is for illegals only.

I don't get it. You said yourself that your forefathers came with nothing but now you want to stop other people who have nothing from coming to your country. I don't understand how that would be 'giving away' the U.S. It would just be allowing them the "American dream", the same as your forefathers got. And many of them are coming from oppressive regimes where they have no future. I think the true American would welcome them and rejoice in the knowledge that the U.S. has the ability to be a compassionate nation.
