I have seen that documentary and another,and they pose some serious questions.They present a strong argument and it certainly seems as though a lot of questions remain unanswered.Of course to believe it is a big step,but who out there does?Who thinks these issues need to be brought to the mainstream public's attention so they can decide for themselves?And who should be held accountable?I for one think the American people deserve some answers,and for the truth to be left hidden would be an unforgivable disgrace to the people who died there,and also for the people who have died as a result of the consequences.

It's hard for some people to fathom that the U.S. government would lie to its own people, but consider this:
a) Our government has never satisfactorily explained the circumstances surrounding a "UFO crash" in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, especially to the people who lived there and witnessed the whole thing;
b) There is still speculation that FDR knew about the Pearl Harbor attack in time to prevent it, but didn't - knowing it would engage the U.S. in World War II;
c) The Warren Commission was a whitewashed, sanitized 'investigation' of the events surrounding the JFK assassination. The 'truth' won't be known until documents are unsealed in 2038, long after those of us who witnessed the tragedy are dead and gone;
d) The government lied about U-2 spy planes flying over the U.S.S.R. until Khrushchev shot one down and displayed it for all the world to see;
e) Our military denies the existence of Area 51, even though it's identified on official government maps;
f) The government lied about U.S. battleships being 'attacked' in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led us into the Vietnam War;
g) Our military lied about the effects of Agent Orange on Vietnam veterans;
h) The White House lied about a third-rate burglary at the Watergate Hotel until two young reporters dug out the truth, causing a U.S. President to resign;
i) Our government lied about how 444 hostages were freed, coincidentally on the same day a new President was inaugurated; it wasn't until years later that the truth came out about an arms-for-hostages deal, a scandal that rocked the nation; a scandal called the IranContra affair;
j) Our government lied about 'weapons of mass destruction' stockpiled in Iraq, which led us to invade another sovereign nation that in no way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States of America;
k) Our military lied about the torture and sexual abuse of 'detainees' until photographs appeared on the Internet;
l) Our government lied about 'secret' CIA prisons;
m) Our government continues to lie about the real reasons why we're letting our soldiers die in Iraq. It is NOT to bring democracy to that war-torn country. It is NOT to defend our nation against 'terrorists' from some sinister 'evil empire'. It is NOT to establish peace in the Middle East. It is all about OIL and WAR PROFITEERING - and it has been from the very first day.

WHY then is it so hard to believe that our government MIGHT have participated in - or,at least, knew about - 9/11?? As citizens of the U.S.A., we have a Constitutional right - and obligation - to doubt our government, questions its motives, and be skeptical about its actions, especially since the Fourth Estate has dropped the ball and no longer takes its role as watchdog very seriously. If "we the people" fail to hold our government's feet to the fire, we will all wake up someday to find ourselves living under a totalitarian regime. -RKO- 08/20/07

No I dont believe them because they are not supported by scientific fact. Its all opinion based, and they are using theories and personal feelings as a methods of proof. If you watched the History Channels deal tonight about debunking conspiracy theories, they investigated that movie. It was produced in some guys house, with two other folks helping. The guy that wrote Loose Change was in high school when 9/11 took place, and he stated that it wasnt until May the next year that he started looking more into 9/11. Im sorry but that would make that guy the same age, or close to, me. How is it that some 24-27 year old somehow knows more about terrorist attacks, what they look like and how they are carried out, how HE KNOWS that the government had their hand in the towers falling, etc. He doesnt. Like every other conspiracy theorist, they take their opinions and use them as facts. If you want to hear more about people like the guy that made Loose Change, track down that History Channel episode and watch it. It sheds a lot of light on the subject, and backs it with scientific proof. Dont put a lot of faith into conspiracy theories, as the people that think of them can use certain ideas against you to think like them. Do the research yourself, back it with scientific proof, and you will see these guys theories dont hold any water.

I practically die from laughter every time I read one of these 9/11 conspiracy posts. Your conspiracy theories are so half-baked it is laughable. If you want a point by point rebuttal of the loose screw documentary "Loose Change" and other loony theories go to popularmechanics.com. Or watch the 9/11 conspiracy show on the History Channel.

Oh wait, the History Channel is a illuminati freemason jewish fascist psy-ops operation, and so is popular mechanics. And wait, I almost forgot, so am I, I am on their bankroll, and I have a computer chip implanted in the back of my head so that I will do their bidding.

My final point is that the common 9/11 conspiracy theorist rarely is able to understand basic science, especially physics. Have you ever heard of pancaking? If the support beams in a skyscraper heat up enough to weaken them (not melt) fail, and just one floor collapses, it creates a MASSIVE amount of energy falling to the ground, and then the building collapses downward floor by floor. The massive amount of air leaving the building as floors collapsed caused the dirt and debris to vacate very quickly. This debris is what conspiracy theorists point to as "evidence" of explosives. Nope, actually evidence of a textbook skyscraper collapse.

Go back to school and study engineering, then come back and we'll see if you are still a conspiracy theorist.

(Its also funny that conspiracy theorists think that the government is that competent and well-organized.)

No. I don't understand why some people refuse to accept the most likely conclusion, which is 19 terrorists trained for a year or so, hijacked four aircraft, and flew three of them into buildings.

Someone I knew once stated she believed that the cancer rates were increasing due to the government purposely spraying a cancer causing agent in the air. How insane does that sound? What would be the purpose when even they have to breathe the same air?

I do not trust the US government as far as I could throw it. Yet, I'm not a paranoid schizophrenic either.

Not a bit. The March 2005 issue of Popular Mechanics spelled it all out in its article "Debunking the 9/11 Myths". I really don't blame liberals for perpetuating the conspiracy, they just don't know any better. They really have a hard time understanding real concrete facts.

Loose Change is the biggest load of crap ever made. The makers have even admitted to knowingly including false information to get, "people researching the event for themselves." That blows any credibility the movie ever had out of the water.

I've never seen loose change, but after speaking to a few survivors of the attacks, I do think that there are some questions which remain unanswered to them and the families of those lost.

Some people are too uncomfortable to ask questions about the subject for fear of seeming unpatriotic. We have to remember that it's very American to ask and ascertain. That's the beauty of freedom and the strength of a democracy.

I especially think the families of those lost should be allowed to ask until they're comfortable with what happened and why.

*******************************
Edit: one of the families who lost a loved one, just wants to know why the Iraqi's paid for what the Saudi's did. Why are the Saudi's immune to scrutiny?
To the thumbs downers: Is this not a legitimate question? Do they not have the right to ask?

Where I don't doubt that 9/11 was caused by hijackings, the thought crossed my mind...
Why hasn't Israel been attacked with El Al liners, too?

I just find it odd that hasn't been tried, or at least, not reported uber-mainstream.
