Well the need to spend billions to "support our troops" is getting old - we have learned that the money does not go to the troops, who have insufficient armor and equipment, but rather to defense contractors and Bush cronies.

You are right, questioning our spending policy should not be made to be seen as unpatriotic. If we never questioned our government, we would still be British.

Opposition to government spending must not be blocked but should be entertained since public spending must be known to the people.
