We have a significant portion of our population that has chosen to hate for the last 6 1/2 years. They hate our President so much that they have made the irrational decision to root against their own country. As of today, the only way they can be right is for America to suffer defeat in Iraq or pull out with our tails between our legs. They are quick to deny any good news from Iraq and try to drown out any good news with something negative, to prove to the world that America is being justly punished.
They are proof that hatred is a cancer that rots the soul. And they are hurting our country.

I have a dilemma. I am about to graduate and always wanted to join Air Force but never had the courage because of the whole Iraq situation. But now that I hear that the military can help pay off your student loans...I am thinking about joining. So I was talking about it to my husband...I will be serving for 4yrs and have my loan paid off then paying my loan for the next 20yrs. He says that he will leave me if I do join. I am assuming because he was in the Army he had bad experiences or that I will cheat on him. But I would want to give payment on a house instead of paying my loan. So should I do it or not? Please help. Thank you.

This is a rhetorical question of course because an opinion, even mine, is neither right nor wrong. It's simply an opinion.

I am interested in knowing what others think.

I am a dog lover. I have owned several. However, I believe that a crime against humanity {rape, murder, child molesting etc ...} is far more egregious than dog fighting and the brutality to animals that is involved in that sport.

In this case I am talking about a building inspector. If his job is to enforce codes, and he doesn't do it, who is it that busts HIM for not obeying the law that gave him that responsibility? In this instance there is a building that has no certificate of occupancy, and isn't even finished, but it belongs to his friend, so he is allowing the friend to live there even though the building violates codes.
