There is no such thing as a pure democracy. I don't need google links to tell me that we don't live in a democracy but rather a oligarchy, where theose with money and connections have all the politcial power. Examples include, the Kennedies, the Bushs, Clintons, Rockefellers etc.

Yes, in Canada we live in a Democracy. A Democracy depends on free choice with regulations. There is no such thing as a pure Democracy in the real world.

for those who say, we are not a democracy and that we are a republic...blah blah blah......and democracy is mob rule...blah blah blah.....I want you to explain if we are not a democracy, why are we spreading something that we are not in Iraq?
