No specific party should represent the people. No specific leader should represent the people. For the people should all be united as one. One sole power to act, decide, and forge our country into what we want it to be and be represented as. The majority should rule.

I support:

low foreign involvment
heavy military funding
privatized health care
American Industry
NASA
States Rights
Gun rights
Legalizing Marijuana
Stronger Border
Death Penalty
Abortion (not because I think you should be able to kill an unborn kid, but because it improves society by not having a bunch of unwanted children growing up to be criminals)

I don't support:

Big Federal Government
gay marriage
minority scholarships
people who don't believe in evolution
banning prayer in school
Membership in the UN

I don't believe in:

Global Warming
Man-Bear-Pig
Africa or the Middle East ever climbing out of the dark ages
The Idea that cooperation between nations is a better international system than the competition for power

Right now, I'm a Republican, but my views are more important than party identification. I feel that Republicans accomplish more for me than anyone else for the moment. Some may say that I would fit in with the Libertarians. Libertarians are more of a mish-mash of people who think its cool not to be a (D) or an (R) than a legitimate political force. Basically they have the same polarization within that party that Reps and Dems normally represent. Thus they accomplish nothing.

Most recently registered as a Republican, and if Hillary is the Democratic nominee, I'll be a Republican again for the 08 election. I do not vote a straight party line and vote for the candidate that I like most (or dislike the least).

I used to be a registered Republican until under a decade ago. Be that as it may, I still tend to vote moderate right, because like a previous poster said, "the left scares the hell out of me."
