first of all, we shouldn't have a draft, especially for this war because it is the most pointless war ever and many americans disagree with it, so it would be wrong to draft people who didn't want this stupid war in the first place.
second of all, how would staying in iraq win the war on TERRORISM? iraq is not a country filled with terrorists. going to iraq was not to fight the war on terrorism. iraq and terrorists don't have a link at all. so buy staying in iraq, all we do is get more of our soldiers killed and kill more innocent iraqis.
and last, how can we "win" in iraq? what do you mean by that? if we win we get control over their country, their people, their oil? as i've said before we won't be winning the war on terrorism, and i don't think we'll win or deserve to win in iraq because it wasn't our business in the first place.

We are currently losing the war in Iraq because we've chosen our Armed Forces to approach the enemy with kid-glove political correctness---and it's getting OUR people killed.
Iraq is a dirty war--much like Vietnam: the enemy has NO honor in proud wear of uniform, no organized lines of battle. The enemy BLENDS in all too well with innocent Iraq locals; our troops are ducks walking inside the Anaconda pit.
Bottom line: toss out the liberal politically correct book on U.S. troop war policy. It's like this: the U.S. simply must FIGHT DIRTIER than their enemies if they want to return home alive.....and maybe win this war. To fight just as dirty as the enemy will also have the U.S. complete the at hand task in Iraq much sooner, too.

Oh my.
The terrorists dear are mostly in countries that are NOT spelled I-R-A-Q.
Occupying a country and killing people the for a long period of time is not "winning" anything.
Richard Nixon once said (about Vietnam): "We won the war, but lost the peace."
Vietnam was lost . Google Tet Offensive.

We were in Vietnam longer than "8 or 9 years," and if we stop falling for enemy propaganda, as we did in Vietnam(and unfortunatley are doing now), we can win the war on terror, including in Iraq.

A war on "terror" will never be won. It's a religious based terrorism.
