We have a significant portion of our population that has chosen to hate for the last 6 1/2 years. They hate our President so much that they have made the irrational decision to root against their own country. As of today, the only way they can be right is for America to suffer defeat in Iraq or pull out with our tails between our legs. They are quick to deny any good news from Iraq and try to drown out any good news with something negative, to prove to the world that America is being justly punished.
They are proof that hatred is a cancer that rots the soul. And they are hurting our country.

Respond if you can. Tell me how I'm wrong. It might cheer me up.

I agree with you, it does hurt our country, it has to be like a kick in the pants for our Military, that people at home are saying that Iraq is unnecessary and here they are risking their lives.

People will complain about anything, and yet contribute very little to helping solve the problem. Instead of being a United Country, standing together in support of the President, in support of the troops, we are a country divided, and it is a real shame.

I can't stand the hate that I hear, the only blessing is that it shows me how many truly ignorant people there are out there, and I am glad I am not one of them.

Blessings

Gee maybe if you guys hadn't spent 7 years and $70,000,000.00 of our money on a with hunt because you wanted to undo the will of the electorate by "hating" Mr Clinton and setting the tone for years to come we wouldn't be here now, a case of the pot calling the kettle black to start with and then to show your ignorance about the war well it's just disgraceful that's what it is we had no business going in and we got NO business there now what part of that don't you get, couple that with the politicalizzation of Government agencies, illegal wiretaps shredding constitutional rights and destroying our standing in the world and I'd say those of us who hate Bush have just cause

I'm afraid you have conflated our country with Bush. They are not the same. I love my country and I don't like Bush. I don't hate him, I just disagree with his actions and his principles. I believe he has driven our country into a ditch. But I don't wish him any harm. There's a difference between hating and disagreeing with--apparently you don't realize this.

I don't know any American who wishes our country harm. Just because we disagree with this administration or don't like the war in Iraq, we have our country's well being in mind just as you do.

Can you understand that two Americans can disagree on political issues and still both love their country? Is that too hard a concept?

It is an American and democratic duty to criticize your country when you think it's going in the wrong direction, and over 70% of Americans now think that. We are NOT hurting our country. People like you who want to abridge someone else's freedom of speech and disregard the Constitution are hurting our country. Why are you so un-American?

Yes it is hurting our country and i am once again very embarrassed to the Military for it just like back in Vietnam. It is very sad when so many Americans are haters.
