Yes he is 99% correct about Israel's apartheid. And let's just say that if AIPAC doesn't like you you don't get elected President of the US.

I applaud Carter for his integrity and for the gracious way he defends his views against the whining accusations of being anti-Semitic.

The analogy between South Africa and Israel is false.
AIPAC, while admittedly a major lobby group, has no more or more less influence than any other lobby group of its size.
The mere implication that it has too much influence is anti semitic because it is one step way from saying that the Zionists or the Jews control the US government, a clear anti semitic meme.
