If its the United States Air Force, where are there United States Air Force Bases in Italy, Japan, and all those other countries? Whats the point of that? And why aren't there any in Africa?

The only independent country there is Egypt. I wouldn't mind living on a military base there, but in Africa itself given it's current situation? Hell no. Humanitarian missions I can deal with, but I'd never live there and I wouldn't allow my husband to volunteer for a station.
And as for Air Force bases, here are some locations :

Sadly, you're just another arrogant "know-it-all" civilian. Now you can't say there are no Air Force instillations in Italy, Spain, and Japan....for example.

Forward Deployment means less turn around time for flights. The closer the aircraft is to the area, the less refueling and flight time required by pilots. Only long range planes can fly around the world, tactical planes cannot.
Until recently, there has been no national need to base things in Africa. That is starting to change. We have units in west Africa and Djibouti now. In the past, we had bases in Ethiopia (Eritrea now).

We have forward bases of all sorts. We only build these more bases where we need to project our power to protect our allies, and our own interest. Africa has zero countries that pose even the smallest of threats to us. If for some reason we do need air power in Africa we have these little things called aircraft carriers.

The Most sophisticated country in Africa is Egypt which we have bases in Israel anyway. Also We dont have much to gain from Africa such as Oil Minerals or wealth like the other countrys mentioned

We used to have bases in North Africa. We have landing rights in Kenya.

Wow, the reason why you aren't in our Department of Defense is beyond me. I'm just wondering why we haven't moved all our Army bases in the US to Africa, it's not like we are at war with ourselves.
