Why - in such an "enlightened" society and culture that you have created - would one of your own feel compelled to troll for same-sex anonymous encounters in a public bathroom?

Is there something missing in this tolerant and loving world of yours?

I am the person that they wanted to serve with the subpoena. I panicked and told them that that person moved and no longer lived there. I live in NY and my wife said I could go to jail for lying to them. I don't know what the subpoena or order is about and I am scared to find out.

I'm not asking about Bush specifically, and I'm aware that it is within their authority to appoint whomever they want; that isn't what I'm asking. What I am asking is YOUR personal feeling about Presidents (in general) appointing their friends to be cabinet members. Do you think they are able to remain objective about the friend's job performance, or do you think cronyism is a big problem in American politics?

Again - I AM NOT TALKING SPECIFICALLY ABOUT BUSH; I AM TALKING ABOUT ALL U.S. PRESIDENTS.

had already been divorced and seperated on the grounds of my ex unreasonable behaviour and violence. He put me in Hospital for 6 weeks,during that time he got a residence order I am told he should have never had without my solicitor or myself present. But all I got from the court is that the children had been moved it would cause more damage to move them back, my ex also managed to obtain a 3 bedroom council house at this point also as he had been living in a room since I had thrown him out of our home 6 years previously, as he had not supported us emotionally or financially in anyway. Infact he also stole money from my 8 year old childs bank account, which had been put there by a relative for her future. The police said because he had taken her and she had signed their was nothing they could do, even though she was under 16.
I went through so much with this man now he has stolen my childrens childhood knowing I can have no further children and totally brainwashed my children .?

Why is it that when you support your country, support your president, and support the mission of our troops in in Iraq, there's always some idiot demanding that you stop hiding behind your keyboard and join the military to go fight on the front lines? But complaining, bytching, and moaning doesn't require you to do a friggin thing! If you use this logic, does that mean that if you support gay marriage you should run out and marry somebody of the same sex?

Hitler had counted on the destruction of the Royal Air Force (RAF) in order to launch his attack on Great Britain across the English Channel, code named "Operation Sealion." Hitler abandoned this plan after the RAF survived the Luftwaffe's onslaught. My question is,

Considering the limited range of the Luftwaffe's most effective fighter at the time, the Bf109, would the German's have been better served launching Operation Sealion anyway and forcing the RAF to attack over the English Channel thus meeting the Luftwaffe "half-way?" Any other "what-if" thoughts??

My friend got sacked from her job. She is due to have some interviews next week. Obviously she is able to start as soon as possible (and she needs the money), but if she is to make the new employers believe she is still in employment, then she would have to say that she would have to give her employer's a months notice of her departuture. What should she do? Is there anyway around this?

Its none of the governments business if someone is married. This is not a religion issue because the government can't force a religion or prevent a religion from marrying anyone. It is not a morality issue since gays will have sex weather they are married or not. It is simply about social benefits like tax breaks, survivor benefits. The same benifits that all single people are denied gay or straight. Instead of fighting for gay marriage why dont gay people join with all single people to fight the discrimination that All single people suffer.

Should this "video evidence" be put into the public domain?

my soon to be hubby is deploying soon, and we thought the ss act stated somewhere that precentage rates had to be dropped when a soilder deployed? We were told since he used the MILES program to purchase his car, that the ss act was invalid, and he may have to refinace with a local bank to lower his apr. Is this right, or how do we fix this?

Last night her brothered called and asked her for her information SS#, Address, D.O.B etc. She asked why he needed that information and he said that to apply for the state trooper position he needed to list all his immediate families information and that they may do a background check on her. Well back when she was I think 18 she was arrested (NOT convicted) and ended up on probabation for about a year paid a fine and the case was dismissed she is now 27 years old but is concerned that her criminal history may affect her brother from getting the state trooper position. She didn't tell her brother of the offense because she didn't think it would come up. Should she tell him? Will this affect him getting the position? Will they ask her brother is he knew of the offense?

It seems like there's more pedophiles, child molestors, closeted gay senators/governors. Aren't republicans supposed to be "god-fearing" Christians?
