i ofter hear people say "We have a booming economy". Not just a so so economy or a good economy, but a "booming" economy.

I would like for someone to do this for me.

Could you list out 5 reasons you believe we have a booming economy from the point of view a typical american family?

or is it possible that this is yet another propanda tactic by those who wish to keep the wool over the eyes of americans and tell them that the moisture they feel on their backs is rain and not someone relieving themselves.

The booming economy is a myth. No one will give you a list, since a list does not exist.

Booming economy. We're getting the goods from all over the world, and we're spending a lot of money. That's two. I don't have five.

However, there is no propaganda as I know it, I haven't heard anyone talking about a booming economy, in fact, the media has been playing down the good side of our economy, talking instead about the deficit, (the deficit is irrelevant to the economy, if you read Adam Smith or any other good economist) and the prices in housing going down as a bad thing.

I know you're probably looking for more of a rant on propaganda, and the George W. Bush, and stuff like that. But sorry, I just provide the truth. You can give me a thumbs down for that.

I have talked with people all over the country. The economy in some parts of the country is doing well. In others, like the mid-west, it is in recession. Unfortunately for me, I am in the mid-west. I can attest to a declining net worth.
The problems in the mid-west are directly related to the export of jobs overseas.

I work for a company who is swamped with work right now...mandatory overtime and they just reinstated double time on Sundays(I still won't work Sundays though), been hiring people starting with temporary help, but now hiring only full time employees...I work for a huge corrugated company which makes the machines that make the packaging and boxes for other companies....SOMEONE is needing boxes to ship their merchandise in since there is such a demand for our machines....we see how the economy is alittle ahead of time....when we slow down, you can count on the economy slowing down in about six months...but for now, we are going gang busters like I've never seen before.......but if you want to believe the economy is so bad go right ahead, it will get better if a lib gets in the white house.......NOT!!

The present 'boom` is artificial.
The economy will 'boom` until the credit runs out.
It'll probably just about make it till November.
