Clinton supports a smoking ban in public places nationwide.

Do you think it is a good idea or do you think it is another symptom of the nanny state.

It's just the tip of the ice burg. It's about control. She also said if and when elected she should have the right to take away any profits from a free market business that she deems excessive. And to raise everyone's taxes to the point that everyone will be dependent on her and government for everything. Can't wait for her to be president and some of her backers have to use her "universal healthcare" wonder how they will feel when they have to wait a year for a gall bladder operation? Then there will be the fat police canvasing the fast food places. I can just see it now YOU IN THE BLUE SPANDAX! Put the big mac down and slowly back away from the table!

....and she was invited to attend the Bilderberg meeting last year......

"It's all about "fairness," says Hillary. And "fairness doesn't just happen. It requires the right government policies."

"Many of you are well enough off that [President Bush's] tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to have to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
(Hillary grandstanding at a fund raising speech in San Francisco ; SFGate.com 6/28/2004.)

"The only way to make a difference is to acquire power"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 68 - Hillary to a friend before starting law school.)

"We just can't trust the American people to make those types of choices.... Government has to make those choices for people"
(From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 20 - Hillary to Rep. Dennis Hastert in 1993 discussing her expensive, disastrous taxpayer-funded health care plan)

"I am a fan of the social policies that you find in Europe" Hillary in 1996" From the book "I've Always Been A Yankee Fan" by Thomas D. Kuiper, p. 76 - Hillary in 1996)

It's ridiculous. I hate her.
I'm voting for Ron Paul. Hilary needs psychiatric care.
Ron Paul cares about our freedom, he cares about the blue collar working man trying to make ends meet like me, he is the only one running that will real make things better from what I can see.

Vote Ron Paul '08
Hope for America

Bush is a good man and I support him even though I disagree with him on some things

rubbish. Is her government going to pay for the cost of people taking no smoking treatment? NO---- same thing as in Australia the government is making at least 75% of tax on cigarettes so why should they loose that revenue? and why should they loose those votes?

they may as well ban sex and then suffer the consequences of a old society with no young people coming on to continue society --- in any case who are they to regislate our lifestyles??????????

You would expect she'd like it as foggy as she could get it.
Slick-Billary and smokescreens just seem to go together (just ask Vince Foster (whose blood pooled UPSTREAM when his head was lying on the downward slope of that park where he was found)
. Maybe we'll all go out and smoke at Whitewater Park.

thats one of the few things i actually agree with hillary on. i dont think its "hillarys" ban as its already law in ohio and california as well as other states but fact never seems to stop the clintons when they think they have a good idea. bottom line, my right to a healthy life trumps your right to kill yourself in public and take others with you due to your lack of concern.

As I can hear Hillary bellowing: My lips never touched his 'cigar!'

would love to see her try and take my cigs, that would end very badly for her and her "secret service." Never ever try to take a smoker's cigs..you may as well be murdering someone's child.
