The whole of country of US was founded by immigrants, many of whom came here to encroach the land of the native americans (Red Indians). Isn't it hypocritical when you call to stop immigration now?

I'm always hearing about what a great nation America is, but is this true? Through social evolution, the United States should be perfect by now. There are so many problems in America though, especially poverty. The government should provide for these people. We also need better health care like they have in Canada and Cuba. Hillary will fix these and all other problems as she has promised.

For equality for all, remember Hillary in '08.

best candidate, yet most say they are not supporting him nor are they voting for him.
When I ask why. I usually get something like. "He has no chance." Of course this is true because of peoples attitudes.
What would happen if all of these people actually did support him and vote for him? Would he get more money, and air time on TV, in turn getting him more support?

garbage bombs when fighting foreign enemies. It's cheaper, comes pre-maid, would prevent our land-fills from filling up, it is mostly bio-degradable. Think about it. if you got dumped on day after day with garbage, wouldn't you be more willing to settle your differences sooner? So iran, if we go there next, should get taken out with our garbage.

'charge' of "Causing or aiding a suicide" ?

If there were a ton of valid evidences to support this case.....
would it still be extremely difficult?

What does the law require as 'proof' to make this kind of case plausalby 'stick' without reasonable doubt? What kind of stipulations are to this?

Also, if some one committed suicide as the result of another person's actions..... could that person be charged with either invoulantary or voluntary manslaughter as well, or instead of?

This is research of sorts...... could you provide case examples if possible?......

I am currently attending culinary school. We often get e-mails from an army recruiter, with pretty vague statements abouts paying off our (extremely expensive) tuition by joining the military.

But... would it be worth my time to join and be a CHEF? I don't know anyone that's gone into the military and just been a chef... I don't want to end up being the burger girl at the chow hall with a $50,000 culinary degree.

I've toyed with the idea of joining for a long time... both of my grandfathers, my dad, his 3 brothers and 2 sisters, and my mom's brother were all in the military (all 4 branches) so I'm not opposed to the idea at all. I grew up a military brat.

If anyone has any experience with anything like this, I'd love to see your answers! Thanks in advance!

When Janet Reno fired over 80 people, barely investigated crimes Clinton committed, like the selling of secrets to the Chinese, Waco, accused Richard Jewel of terrorism and so many other things?

I'm not knocking Reno, she's a hometown girl for me. I liked her, would have voted for her in the Governors elections if she had made it past the primaries. But, seriously, she had more problems as Attorney General then Gonzalez ever did, yet she wasn't hounded like Gonzalez was. We look and say she was a good Attorney General, and I think she was, she just had a lot of stuff fall on her shoulders. Gonzales fires 8 people and suddenly he's the most evil man on the planet. Why is that?

we were just talking about it at work, and this guy says, yes, an employer can lower your pay, if he so chooses to less than what you started at.....I say that isn't right, but he says he's right. Tried looking it up, but can't find anything related to that question....

A month and half half into my new job, the asist. manager of my department comes to work on his day off drunk and sexually harasses a chick friend of mine (touching and etc) The situation seemed to be swept under the rug because the chick was too scared to come forward, obviously uncomfortable. I find out a couple days later the assistant manger prick is trying to get me fired for probably knowing about the stint with my friend, to make sure it didn't come to light. I then go to management about him trying to get me fired and the situation in general, Both GM's told me "you are doing a good job, you have nothing to worry about". For a week, ive been hearing the prick's been saying im getting fired. The GMs today then fired me for poor productivity without warning or anything. And i was doing a good job there.
They fired me obviously because i threatened their jobs if she decided to go to corporate. The girl quit because she hated the drama. And the guy still works there.

what to do?
