I was talking to a recruiter one day and he said that after I finish college, I can enlist in the Marine Corps as a Sgt. Is that true? I just want to know, although I hope to go officer.

I helped out this woman and her 4 kids by letting them stay at my home 2 weeks. Then I change my mind about her and payed for her move to a motel for 2 weeks. She left her two beds, a chest for clothes and some boxes and household things. I've being trying to get her to remove her things for the last 8 weeks. She says she will and i continued to set up dates for her to pick up her things. For the last three weekends she never came even tho she said she would. I told her i will give her things to the salvation army. She continues to make threats and wants to sue me if i get rid of her things. for what i know she moved out of state and I have no idea where she lives. all i have is her cell number. my question is what can i do with the stuff she abandoned?

Think Larry Craig and Mark Foley regarding gay sex. Think President Bush's willingness to send soldiers to do a job he was unwilling to do. Think of high and mighty Newt Gingrich and his scandals. Offering Clinton's White House escapades will not suffice; Republicans claim moral purity, Democrats don't.

From my understanding the security deposit is separate from the judegement ...so i want to know is he obligated to give me my secuity deposit back since he took me to court for back rent. Because i can use the secuity deposit to pay for the backrent charges. I live in Pa. Because i don't want him to get double money ..back rent and secuity deposit.

I've watched some drunk driver car chases from the UK, I've also watched some of those criminal shows with crimes being from the UK, and they don't treat criminals or criminal suspects half as bad as in the US, and how they conduct their police investigations is totally different than in the US, in acquiring search warrants and surveillance actually respecting the criminal suspects, I've seen some videos from the UK that would have gotten someone thrown down on the floor with a knee on his head in the US. Is it just me or do the police in the UK treat criminals a lot differently than in the US?

all his answers show that he is gay from his social bias against religion and family to his lack of logic and compassion to humans instead wanting to protect animals more. ( a result of being gay because he fails to love other individuals and feels no compassion because he has no family and nobody to love) please stop giving answers that only show your bias.

Does the US Army recognize ordained ministers who aren't in "mainline" denominations?
To be a chaplain in the US Army you have to become "ordained" If I am ordained through an Independant Charismatic Church will this count? or must it be through a Major Mainstream denomination such as Methodist, Baptist, Assemblies of God etc?

In my current situation, I have a BA in Christian Ministries/Missions and a MA from Regent University in Practical Theology, its just my church is independant charismatic and not mainline, is this a problem??

France has it and their care is considered the best in the world (WHO report 2000). Every industrialized nation in the world has it...except the US. So, what is the problem? BTW, these other countries provide it at a cheaper rate than the US, by over half per citizen.

Also, where does the US rank? 37th...

I'm 20 years old and went to a casino where I was under the impression that you only had to be 18 to gamble. I have gone before and signed up for a VIP card for which the casino gives you $10 on this card with which you can only use to gamble. To obtain this VIP card I presented my VALID drivers license clearly states in red bold letters that I am under 21 until my birthdate later this year. I was told exactly how to use this card in the machines. Needless to say, I spent the $10 the casino gave me plus some. Last night, I returned to the casino and when the ATM became stuck, I was instructed to see a cashier who then asked for my ID and saw that I was 20. Immediately security came. I was embarressed and humilated and was wondering if I can take legal action against them since I was gambling with the VIP card THEY GAVE ME! I felt I did nothing wrong since it is not posted ANYWHERE in the casino the legal age is 21 to gamble and I honestly thought it was 18!

At work my boss walks in and he is wearing shorts. I looked down and noticed that his legs appeared to be shaved. So I asked him, "Do you shave your legs?" He said yes. He rides bicycles and so he explained to me why people who ride bicycles do that. I told him how I once had a cyclist roommate who shaved his legs and how I had found that creepy. Anyhow, my boss later told me that he thought my negative remark about him shaving his legs (and using the word creepy) was offensive. He was very serious. I got scared. The tone sounded like I had crossed a line in the work place. Did I harass him? I feel so confused and ashamed. Okay, so creepy wasn't the best word to have used. I totally respect my boss and would not want to do anything wrong to him. He knows that I am gay, so I am not sure if he thought I was checking out his legs or what. I did apologize and he accepted. We got along well after that, but I still feel weird and so confused and ashamed about it. Help.
