I'm 20 years old and went to a casino where I was under the impression that you only had to be 18 to gamble. I have gone before and signed up for a VIP card for which the casino gives you $10 on this card with which you can only use to gamble. To obtain this VIP card I presented my VALID drivers license clearly states in red bold letters that I am under 21 until my birthdate later this year. I was told exactly how to use this card in the machines. Needless to say, I spent the $10 the casino gave me plus some. Last night, I returned to the casino and when the ATM became stuck, I was instructed to see a cashier who then asked for my ID and saw that I was 20. Immediately security came. I was embarressed and humilated and was wondering if I can take legal action against them since I was gambling with the VIP card THEY GAVE ME! I felt I did nothing wrong since it is not posted ANYWHERE in the casino the legal age is 21 to gamble and I honestly thought it was 18!

Yes, you might have a civil cause of action. I suggest you make an appointment with an attorney. Your case wouldn't be the first. Most attorneys will give an initial consultation for free, and will also explain their fees to you at that time. Call one!
