People think they will throw their vote away. When they do that they actually throw our freedom away. I believe Ron Paul to be the best choice for America. He is the only experienced candidate that isn't part of the CFR (Council on Foreign Relations). This organization is big business, big money and controls most media outlets. Instead do a search about them. To me it seems like they want to take our ever decreasing constitutional rights away and put in a dictator/puppet of their choice. Eventually they want a one world govt, controlled by them of course. America's military is their policy making attack dog, hence some of the past wars and current war, our lives = their profit. If he is not elected we may become the North American Union instead of the USA, have a big *** highway run through the country, and instead of the US dollar the Amero. There may be more consequences/theories but I'm too lazy to type. So don't take my word for it, do your own research. You can check his campaign website for his stance on issues. Also check out youtube for other info. CFR the real terrorist is a threat to our national security. Ron Paul deserves our support. Vote wisely.

I plan to vote for him and I know many other people that do as well.. Ron Paul has been winning many straw polls... The rest are just accustomed to voting for the lesser of two evils.. He has been getting more money from more well informed voters... If people stopped relying on the media to get the facts and actually researched each canidates track record they'd see the bigger picture... Ron Paul is the only one with an integerity... don't buy the hype of Hillary and Giuliani, you want a canidate who will do something for you, instead of big corporations... then vote Ron Paul

am still thinking my choice through so I just wanted to say thanks. I like reading what people thinks about candidates.
I just wish that the media could only tell exactly was said instead of cutting everything up into "sound bytes" I don't believe anything that the "media" puts out. I research on my own. Unfortunately most of America votes oven the sound bytes and commercials that the candidates put out there.

the unique thought of our shape and our bill of rights become based upon the belief of the supremacy of the guy. If the 1st attention of government is for the guy..... ALL persons..... then no one gets disregarded of any benefit or detriment the government enacts. on the different hand liberalism relies upon issues being utilized to communities..... to a undeniable phase of our inhabitants, yet to not others..... based upon some nebulous could desire to benefit or to punish. interior the 1st case no one gets excluded. interior the 2d case exclusion, not equality, is the point. in basic terms have a severe look at what the liberals right here on YA say, and what they help. this is not equality. They help the two advantages or consequences being utilized or provided to particular segments of our inhabitants, yet to not all. this is preferential scientific look after some, yet not for all. If our suited government is one that treats all human beings the two then it won't manage to be a liberal one for that must be one wherein liberals could and do oppose.

I suspect it has to be related to the subliminal message of the major media; they group 'frontrunners' and exclude Dr. Paul. That is related to their own (msm) conclusion that the FCC media do indeed influence public decisions. All that flap about the third party candidate splitting the votes of the 'chosen', forcing a victory by the least proactive of the remaining choices. My opinion.

I believe that the popular polls that are in the news are very inaccurate. They don't take a large enough sampling. I don't think enough people know much about Ron Paul. I think he is a candidate for all the people not just democrats or republicans.

I think the debates tonight answered that question. By the way, he doesn't have a chance. Learn about our election process.

I guess because they haven't read about his extensive connections with white supremacist groups, haven't read his incredibly racist remarks, and don't stop to wonder why a libetarian is anti-abortion and pro-religion in the schools.
edit - okay, it's 4 am and i can't even type anymore... why do people say he has no chance? maybe because they HAVE read about his extensive connections with white supremacist groups...
Truly, I wonder what you are asking, in terms of Kucinich. I think he's a really smart and brave guy who thinks in the direction I do. How could they get more money and air time as a result of people going out and voting for him? I guess you mean the primaries, not the general election. If more people did go out and vote for him, he'd get more attention.
Then, the media would try to destroy him with some absurdity like the 'dean scream' which, as all c-span viewers who were watching that event live knew, was a significant distortion of reality.
Still, if the people were united on the internet and could overcome the media bashing, there would be a chance for the candidate to win. I have to believe this. When I have my doubts, I start researching moving to Canada.
