Because most republicans are lazy-minded lemmings that repeat EVERYTHING Rush Limbaugh says, as though he's some sort of fat idol on pain killers. It's really sad becasue that brand of Republican makes it nearly impossible to respect the truly conservative, money-grubbing Republicans.

Just tune them out and invite them to join the War Effort and lay down their lives for Iraq.

Some People don't understand how a patriot can speak out against a government at war and have family in the armed forces.
People want to hear either your with us or you are against us, no fence riders. A person can not support the troops and speak against them.
Most of the enlisted people in the military joined because their were no jobs, no money for education and all the benefits they would receive after 20 years of service and the risk is of coarse WAR death, or maimed

Probably because you don't support their mission. Trust me the soldiers don't feel supported by you.
