Yes.
As for your questions:
1. There is always countless kinds of innovations and breakthroughs coming out of the USA. A president has little or nothing to do with it.
2. Ever been to a naturalization? My wife (not from a 3rd world country) recently got her citizenship. A large room was filled with people from all types of backgrounds (and probably a good deal more east asians and westerners than you think), and this was just one city, one day. The same amount of people are coming in everyday in many cities. The 3rd worlders come in to illegally.
3. We always have set trends and still do. American fashions and movies sell worldwide. Our culture is exported everywhere.

America is mislead. We are at the most weak and unsafe time we have ever been in. Unfortunately America really doesnt have much of a voice. Only in some terms. IF we did America would have never evaded Iraq. Most Americans were agaisnt it to begin with. Its time that the American Gov and the American President listen to what Americans have to say and take it into consideration. Because this has not been done we are now in big trouble. WE have lost or allying countries as friends. Most countries in the world don't trust us because they think that we will envade their countries. This has to stop. America needs to be strong and stay strong and be realistic.

No, not entirely. I can see why Bush gave the rich tax cuts and breaks, that did encourage economic growth.
Overall, he has NOT been good for the USA. The hot-button social issues he personally made worse. He selected some of the WORSE people in his cabinet. He made Americans look even less trustworthy.
Too secretive.
The Bush Administration would frame most of their arguments for illegal searches, wire taps and detentions around fighting terrorism. "Those that frame the argument control the argument"
Ruined Christianity for years to come...
A dangerous mix of Christian religious Beliefs and Militarism.
Not ONLY did the Bush Administration damage America, but also Christianity! Damaging one of the world's great religions. I doubt Jesus would encourage bombing people.
Notice many in the Bush Administration are jumping ship? Dick Chaney probably wants to also.

Absolutely not ! Under Bush, the world has lost respect for our nation, turning the once defender of human rights, into human rights abuser, because of his adventure into Iraq for example.
on the grounds of weapons of mass destruction, the important war on terrorism,is no longer look at in the worlds eyes as a righteios cause but one which only serves Americas self interest !

I say YES. like it or not he has shown the World that there is a leader that will not stand for terrorist action in our home land any more. but the LIB'S and anti-war pukes have turned this into a crusade for their own agendas. Twisting facts to suit their needs.
For the countries that alienate themselves from the USA. this shows their cowardliness and I hope they get invaded by terrorist and then watch them come running to us for help.

absolutely....it shows the very clear pattern liberals had with selling america a bill of goods about a quick fix to iraq. there simply isnt any and bush has kept this country well defended despite a firestorm of needless and foolhardy grandstanding by the pelosi/reid regime.

I would say NO, I believe Mr Bush has been in way over his head. He and the people he chose to help him were not at all up to the job of working for the people, they only did for big business. He seems like the only thing that madders to him is POWER, GREED and OIL. And I was a Republican.
