It's obvious that there is a different standard between the two parties. Immorality is tolerated more by the Dems than Reps at this time. Same offense - different result. You will be held responsible for your actions as a Republican. We'll see how long that lasts.

They don't, but Barney Frank is not a closeted gay arrested for soliciting, and Jefferson has yet to be charged, let alone plead guilty.
For that matter Vitters has admitted to using prostitutes but hes still holding his office. Of course hes a Republican in an otherwise Democratic state, and if he resigns, they will put in a Democrat, so they can bear with that particular bit of filth.
When you put yourself and your party on a pedestal, you have a higher fall to earth.
But since Larry Craig has been a leading light of the right for a long time, it would have been nice to see a bit of that Christian edict to love the sinner even as you hate the sin.
Maybe they never read that far in the Bible.

Barney Frank never kept his homosexuality a secret and has never been caught looking for partners in a public restroom, and he has never pleaded guilty to any charges that I know of.
Being gay may disturb you, but it's legal. Propositioning strangers in rest rooms is not.
