At present a Vietnam Veteran who returned disabled and receives a small disability pension for his impairment. If he is unable to work he is eligible for a Service Pension (Aged Pension). But his disability pension is classed as income, so if he receives 'Rent Assistance', he only receives a percentage of assistance, while any other pensioner receives a greater amount. So a Veteran is discriminated against for fighting a Government induced war.

So a while back my dad purchased a house and came to an agreement with the owner of the house (the male), the owner of the house and the woman were going through the process of being "divorced' (which my dad was told that they were offically divorced) so my dad saw it as a good deal and since he is starting to get into real estate investing he bought it, but this is when the issues came in to play. The lady of the house got mad due to approval of the sale of the house and all process that took place without of her consent because they were "married" she was suppose to be part of the sale. so she hired a lawyer and sent letters "threats" so my dad just gave up the property and agreed with them to return at least 5,00 of the 10,000 dollars cash he gave up front on the purchase. Now he gave up the house and more letters start coming in now they want money for being 'fruadulent" . By the way thanks for reading your help is greatly appreciated. Andthe title was not under her name. thanks

In the state of Georgia, is it possible for a misdemeanor bench warrant for a Minor In Possession of Alcohol to turn into a felony warrant? I now live in California and have been here for the past 5 years. I received a bench warrant in 2002 (right after moving away) for a M.I.P. and about two years ago when I was in a friend of mine's car and he was stopped by a police officer, the officer ran my license and told me there was a felony warrant for my arrest in the state of Georgia. But I thought that if it was a felony that I would be expedited, but he said nothing of the matter. So I don't know if he meant to shake me up and was lying about it being a felony. I don't see how it is possible for a bench warrant (issued when you don't show up to court) for a misdemeanor of being drunk and underage could turn into a felony. Please help!

Remember that budget surplus he inherited? Where is that now???

Worst fiscal reversal in history. Unfortunately, this is not a temporary deficit resulting from an economic slowdown or the costs of the war on terrorism. Instead, the Administration is proposing deficits as far as the eye can see. The $5.6 trillion 10-year surplus that President Bush inherited is now a deficit of more than $2 trillion, for a total fiscal reversal of well over $7 trillion.

This change in our fiscal outlook will mean that we will have $5 trillion more national debt in 2008 than previously expected, roughly $17,000 for every American. That will force the federal government to compete with private businesses for investment capital, hampering future economic growth by increasing interest rates and diverting funds from the private sector.

"Revolutions come in many forms, and revolutionaries fail in different ways. Hillary is a revolutionary - though of a type that is not easily recognized by most Americans. She is a 'soft' revolutionary - or 'establishment' radical - of the kind that thrives today in the social democracies of Western Europe and Scandanavia, and it is safe to say that if Hillary could have her way, she would establish here exactly the sort of cradle-to-grave nanny state that exists in Denmark and Sweden." - Page 413 of 'The Seduction of Hillary Rodham' by David Brock, pub. 1996. Does anyone out there doubt that Hillary has a long history of wanting big government to take over our lives? Your thoughts, please ???

Is it fair that the city is making us pay for "repairs" to the sidewalk infront of our house. In my opinion nothing is wrong at all with the sidewalk, just usual wear just like any other sidewalk. Is this right?

Provide identities for men that can disappear under Saudi protection. These men wouldn't even need to be on the plane. 15 of the hi-jackers were Saudis. Bush, Saudi Arabia and the Bin Laden family have a long history together, Bush senior ran the CIA. Saudi Arabia would benifit from higher oil prices.

I really don't know anything about what the CIA is but my uncle said it is a good job and a smart girl like me should consider it but I don't know anything about the CIA. I only know they are agents going around the world or in our country spying and doing several jobs under the supervision of the president. I want to know what EXACTLY do they do though and anyone be specific?

Some of you on here oppose giving visa's to SOME of the illegal immigrants here already.I read questions all the time how none of them are any good. How all crime is committed by illegals etc. etc.So why would you object to giving someone decent a chance if there aren't that many decent ones?Wouldn't the process of applying at least give us some leverage as to locating and deporting these bad individuals?Or are you afraid there are more good ones than bad?
