I don't think so, rather,like a prominent lawyer in my country pointed out last time, their are a lot of loopholes in the law that can be exploited by high profile criminals to escape the long arm of the law.

No, you hear about high profile people getting investigated, arrested and convicted all the time. People like Mel Gibson, Lindsey Lohan, Al Gore's kid, Paris Hilton and many many other people's cases have been well publicized.

Look at the O.J. trial "If the glove doesn't fit..." HEY STUPID! When leather has been wet... it shrinks as it dries... OF COURSE IT WON'T FIT! Leather can shrink as much as 50%!
