President Musharraf of Pakistan. He is playing both sides.
He is a muslim and is currently struggling to control the muslim extremists in his country who don't like the way he does not offer full support to the muslim fanatics.
At the same time he and his government are turning a blind eye to the terrorist training camps in Pakistan and have supplied nuclear technology to nations such as Iran and North Korea.
What makes thing even worse is that as his power base diminishes, which it is doing,it is likely he will be forced to take one side only.
Pakistan has nuclear weapons. The world should keep a very close eye on what is happening

George Bush Jnr. In analysing who is the most dangerous leader, one needs to consider the power of the person and how decisons made by them can affect the infrastructure of the world as a whole, hence my choice.

Vladimir Putin, then Ahmadinejad.

Then maybe John Edwards, he'll drive up the cost of a hair cut all across the nation.

Vladimir Putin.

I am 100% serious. The man is dangerous; his country is moving slowly towards a dictatorship and no one even notices. He was proven to have links directly with Victor Yuschenko's (Ukrainian presidential candidate that is/was against Putin) dioxin poisoning; similarly, his administration was linked to the disappearance of one of his political rivals, who turned up later and had embarrassing pornographic videos made of him. He constantly allies himself with China, is trying to make peace with the Middle East, and is pointing his missiles at Europe.

Schaufel - I agree that Kim Jong-Il is highly dangerous. I still put my money on Putin, though, because when he does make his true colors known, he will be extremely dangerous considering the position he is in and the weapons he holds. Think of it more as a man hiding in the shadows.

I would have to place my vote on Kim Jong-Il, he's a narcisistic dictator with absolute unquestioned authority in his country, with over a million soldiers under his command, little regard for his nation's best interest, completly unconcerned with the suffering of his people, known to have committed atrocious acts with impunity (ie, kidnapping, murder, torture, etc), no check on his authority... oh yeah, to boot he has nuclear weapons, and is developing long range missile technology... not to mention he is brazen about his hate for the United States, and our allies like Japan, and South Korea...

He makes Hitler look like a boy scout!

Sterling J -

I agree that Putin is scary... he looks like he's trying to be a later day Stalin, but my money is still on Kim Jong-Il... Putin still has some checks against his total authority, and there is some political opposition to his rule, what with Garry Kasparov running a relatively powerful political campain in opposition to him... in North Korea, on the other hand... nobody even says Kim Jong-Il is funny looking for fear of winding up in a ditch somewhere...

If Kim Jong-Il had the weapons Putin has it'd be time to duck and cover for sure!

Sterling J, lets agree that we'd probably be better off if both of them went out on a long cruse and the boat sank!
