"Revolutions come in many forms, and revolutionaries fail in different ways. Hillary is a revolutionary - though of a type that is not easily recognized by most Americans. She is a 'soft' revolutionary - or 'establishment' radical - of the kind that thrives today in the social democracies of Western Europe and Scandanavia, and it is safe to say that if Hillary could have her way, she would establish here exactly the sort of cradle-to-grave nanny state that exists in Denmark and Sweden." - Page 413 of 'The Seduction of Hillary Rodham' by David Brock, pub. 1996. Does anyone out there doubt that Hillary has a long history of wanting big government to take over our lives? Your thoughts, please ???

There are so many "books" out there about Hillary Clinton that it's easy to cherry pick through them and find quotes to fixate on to try and make people fearful of her that it's ridiculous.
That's why many people were so glad to see Carl Bernstein do an indepth and unbiased portrait of her in his book. The neocons were drooling waiting for it to come out, sure it would provide them with ammunition from a respected source like Bernstein so they could blast away at her. But instead they got a well balanced book that took away their hopes and none of them ever bring up that book anymore lol.
It was so fair and balanced that it didn't make her into the horrible harpy they were all hoping it would. Instead it presented a view that was critical but honest, and gave insights into her character they didn't want to hear about. Such as how she's always been a lifelong religious person who has depended on her faith to get her through difficulties.
No, I don't believe that Sen. Clinton wants government to take over our lives. She wants a lot of things, but that isn't one of them. She does want this country, the richest country in the world, to start dealing with the fact that 45 million of our citizens don't have health care. She wants to create more opportunties for the underclass and stop the erosion of the middle class. She reveres our Constitution just the way it is and has no designs to created a socialist state. Those who claim she does are nothing but dramatists and rhetoric spewers who don't really take the time to find out anything about what she really stands for. The talking points of those who hate her are good enough for them, truth doesn't really matter to those who hate her already.

I doubt it. And that's kinda sad, because would it really be that bad to live like they do in Denmark and Sweden? 'Cause those countries really aren't known for how bad they suck. You don't hear a lot of people talking about how awful it is there, and how much they hate it there, or how much poverty or war or bad stuff is there, because it's pretty much AWESOME. If that's what we're going to get when big government takes over, SIGN US UP.

I am frightened of the over-intruding government we have today. George W Bush has consolidated unprecedented power to the executive branch and if that power is handed over to Hillary Clinton, there is no system in place to check her power because it was just dismantled.
Speaking of Revolution, I think it's getting close, unless it's too late.

It is obvious that she is working toward that goal. She would end up with more power and that is mission #1 for her and other liberals.
