A frined of mine makes his living doing just that and he brings in between 100 and 250 a day and considering the number of peole doing that...along with all the ones that cross on their own...I'd estimate about 7500.

Too damn many! I'm so sick of this situation, why can't our government do it's job? What are the qualifications to work for ICE? Thousands, as I understand it, either cross illegally or overstay visas.
The raids they keep advertising aren't even near maintenance. What we need to do is stop the problem, and cut off the benefits.
