Ever wandered what's in the Farm Bill that Congress passes about every 5 years? This relic of the New Deal includes a program that pays farmers not to grow crops. Think of all the poor people who can't afford to buy food that this nasty legislation hurts. Why does the government keep extending it?

This is my problem I live in a Federaly subsidized housing
supported by The Dept. of Agricultural multiple family housing
and rural development formerly FHA. The manager of the apartments does not know anything about office work and her
husband the Mantience man / manager ( actually does all the
paper work ) does not know anything about mainteance work
he was a tax collector and she was his bookeeper ( does not know anything about paper work ) she stole a bunch of money
from the state put the tax money in the bank under her husband
the tax collectors name ,he took the blame for it and became a convicted felon and that is why she is the manager and he is the mainteance man neither one of them know what they are doing in their supposively job when he screws something up
it is blamed on you for not being right.why does The Department of Agricultural Family Housing and Rural Development let convicted felons and crooks deal
with old people . all government agencys are crooked

Some of my relatives/ancestors moved to Cuba from Europe after the slave trade was outlawed to avoid being thrown in jail but I can't find anyone in Northern Spain that has this name. The closest I can find is "Benavides". My sister says we are "creolle" or something like that from Northern Spain. Sorry for being so ignorant about my heritage...but I want to find out. Also when I went to Spain I noticed that I was white as hell as compared to other Spaniards ESPECIALLY in the south. I looked albino compared to them :) Please help...thanks.

I think, these books are called unit history. My grandfather had one about the battles he was in. It mentions the names of the men in that unit,company or regiment that fought in the battles they were in. I believe this type of book was written for those men and their families. I don't think they did it for the other wars.Please help me if you can. I APPRECIATE IT.

Conclusion to previous question on why would you come here for work? Some answers were because of higher wages?

30.5% of people here are of higher income level.

i'm not an immigrant but i'm hispanic and I, like many others support all the immigrants legal and illegal, they have come here to work and provide for their families. they don't come for hand outs, they come to earn their money.

you keep complaining about how they cost the government money, but what about all the money they lose on taxes and can't claim back at the end of the year, they are the reason why our economy is doing good.

Myself and other co-coworkers are expected to work a minimum 10 hours a day, 50 hours a week but we are paid salaried. Our boss tells us we "have" to or we "must" work 10 hours a day. Is this at all legal? I know as salaried employees you tend to always work above and beyond 10 hours but we're often almost 'expected' or 'required.'.....Anyone familiar with wages, please advise or where I can get help.

Was out with my boyfriend.My night to drink and he was driving.There was a man at the bar wasted treating his very very pregnate wife/girlfriend porly. He actually punched her in the stomach. I told my boyfriend to go tell him that we would give her a ride home (even though we did not know either of them) he crossed the street to tell him and the man puched him in the face. 1 punch but it knocked my bf out and he fell back and hit his head on the cement, I ran out to him whre he laid not moving for at least 5 min. he fianlly came to and the medics and police were already there since we were at kind of an outdoor festival. the government asks for a social security number to be placed on your pre-hire forms.. illegals do not have this number.. so the argument i hear often, is that illegals just put some random numbers down....

I understand disagreeing with him on some or all issues, but what is this deal with this hatred for the President? its borderline psychotic.

The nation is in pretty good shape. There could be improvements but thats always true. So why do you hate him so darn much? It just doesnt make sense from an intellectual standpoint.

I did my Texas DL renewal online, and it will be sent to my GA address, but I want to know if this is the legal thing to do. Should I get a GA DL because I'm a military spouse and our home of record is Texas? I've been married for five years, but the first three we were stationed in Fort Hood, TX, then PCSd to Fort Knox, KY where I never had the need to renew or even ask about this. My DL expires this month, and I want to make sure that military active duty and their dependents are exempted from getting a new DL every time when we PCSd. I hope not because we were in KY for 13 months and for all I know we'll be here in GA for another 13, and I'd hate to pay over and over for new DL's. All answers appreciated. Thanks.

I do belive I am colorblind. How many careers in the USCG are there that do not matter if you are colorblind? For enlisted.

Also is there a career in the USCG that involves driving smaller watercraft? That's what I would like to do. I could not find any on the list for enlisted career options I saw.

I worked for small lousy company that has not paid me. Along with sending a complaint to Texas work force comission..I am planning to open a site and disclose what they did to me. Is that considered defamation ?

Ok so my question is, my husband is active duty and hes already served in afganistan last year and will be goin to iraq soon...but i heard about the soldier a sailor relief act from another army wife friend saying they will only lower the rate if hes overseas,and i was wondering...since hes not currently deployed right now, will our creditors still change our interest rate to 0 or 6% even though hes not gone YET?, and if so what do i need to do and say to them to have them change this over...its crazy hes been in over 2 yrs and we were never told about it...please help thank you!
