ya know I am getting so sick of the bush bashing, I know bush isn't the best pres, hell, hes not even a GOOD pres, but for god sakes, all you hear all day is the bush bashing, it gets old! what would have happened if Kerry became president, easy, he would have made a plan to pull out of the war, then sat back and walked on egg shells, flip flopping back and forth just to try to keep his approval ratings up. Basically he would have done a lot of nothing, just like clinton, and most other liberal leaders we've had, and just like canada's liberal leaders.

We would all be kneeling on prayer rugs facing Mecca several times a day. Jane Fonda would be Secty of Defense and Sean Penn would be Secty of State. There would be no Viet Nam War Memorial...Hanoi John would have it tore down since he believed all those who valiantly served were baby killers.
Our foreign policy would have to pass the Kerry Global Test first...in other words do nothing until you see the AlQaida nuclear mushroom cloud over NY City.

It would be the same as it is now with a few exceptions. Speeches without mistakes (at least watching bush is entertaining for that), more liberal acts, and partial birth abortions would legal.
Personally, the last election was picking the lesser of two evils. Either way wasn't going to be a good way to go. It's a sad world we live in when it comes to politics.

Jackie - why does valid criticism of Bush for his perfomance constitute "Bush bashing" but hypothetical lambasting of Kerry and referring to Clinton as a do nothing president is ok?

The liberals would have been converted to Islam long ago, the public schools would be handing out korans and prayer rugs, and the conservatives, would be criminalized, while a gay pride parade takes place across the White House lawn.
