Two fingered salutes would attract a warning or arrest for disorderly conduct. Its all down to the officer concerned and how they percieve you. Personally speaking I'd tell you to behave and leave it at that. If you wanted to ignore my advice then you'd get locked up.

As for pointing a gun at me..... be careful!!!!! Just kiddin.

On a serious note I would'nt do anything for pointing your fingers like a gun at me. Its hardly offensive and not threatening.

All the best.

The two fingers is a Public Order offence, especially if there are other things around. The gun gesture can be construed as a threat, so on bith examples you would be arrested, although with a full confession and remorse in thepolice interview, and providing that you have no previous, I wouldn't expect you to get more than a caution

The two finger salute, as it is known here in UK, is not something you want to do in front of a copper. Likewise, pointing two fingers as though using a pistol.

Both bad ideas when confronted by the fuzz.

Here's how you get a way with blue murder when stopped by the fuzz.

a] always stand in the gutter, head bowed slightly.
b] answer all questions truthfully.
c] to not try to out-stare the PC

Try to avoid situations where you ultimately hear words such as "you're nicked".

Avoid completely words such as 'pigs' etc. Don't even mention pork scratchings.

You should be then told to buzz off home.

The "V" for victory thing is free speech.

The point like a gun is a threat, and you will not like the reaction you get.

Misdemeanor.
Know someone who was drunk, pointed a finger, then poked the cop. He ended up going to jail, for assault with a deadly weapon!

haha no joke!

Probably nothing, they're used to it. They should be able to come over & give you a slap round the head but they can't.
