I left an abusive husband who refused to allow me to work. I went on Welfair for 2&1/2 years. My then 5 year old son fell down the stairs of our second floor apt. His little head hit the wall and he was knocked out. We took him to the hospital. He had a concussion. There was this older man there who very loudly made a statement about "Lazy people on welfair " getting free health care! (I was going to Jr. College) I told that man that if he would give me his address I would gladly repay what ever he felt I owed him for the hospital saving my baby's life as sonn as I got a job! Of course he would not give me his address!

Not many politicians want to address this, but it's easily the biggest problem in America. The abuse of this system is gross.

More kids, more money.
No father, more money.
Claim the kid is "special," more money.
Free formula.
Food stamps.

Folks, this system was designed to help people get off there feet. I think most people (originally) paid it back.

All this system does is recycle poverty, drugs and crime. There is NO REASON you can't make a great living in the United States Of America.....NO REASON.

How do we fix this? Why won't politicians address this?

One way.....start requiring a drug test before you get the check.

Religious conspiracy changes from generation to generation .God no longer wants homosexuals stoned to death . God no longer wants people to have slaves .
God no longer wants people to attack other nations killing all the men and non virgins and making sex slaves of the young women and slave boys and girls of the youth .
God no longer wants women to walk behind men and remain silent when it comes religious teaching .
When did God pop in and change all these things . Just a few hundred years ago we burned witches at the stake and drowned them in rivers to cleanse their souls .
Hey if that not the biggest conspiracy of all time then what else could it be .
Second gunmen on the grassy knoll (the cia killed kennedy), We were warned about the 9-11 attacks before they happened (bush helped by pulling the fbi surveillance teams off the terrorists )
So why do liberals get the conspiracy hat when its conservatives who wear the biggest hat of all . Just look at the mega church in your town .

and in the Gulf of Mexico, which would have increased supply and reduced our import of oil from the volatile Middle East. If we had started drilling in ANWR when first approved by Republicans, and had encouraged construction of new oil refineries, we simply would not have the shortages - real and imaginary - that we do today.

Democrats also added to today’s crisis by passing a Windfall Profits Tax against oil companies in 1980, right after a similar big jump in retail prices. The effect was a decline in both new or improved oil refineries, and a curtailment of exploration for new oil reserves.

The nonpartisan Congressional Research Service reported in 1990 that the effect of the 1980-87 Windfall Profits Tax, "reduced domestic oil production between 3 and 6 percent, and increased oil imports from between 8 and 16 percent ... this made the U.S. more dependent upon imported oil."

The Brazilian GDP is very small; there is no electricity in many places. Other important city is Buenos Aires, with indigenous population. There are no industries. The country is a dictatorship regime since 1987, when Fernan Cortéz was elected president. The official language is Spanish. About 91% of the population is homeless. Almost all Brazilians are Indigenous, but there is a small group of Spanish population that dominates the power. To survive, many women are prostitutes and about 89% of children need to work and don’t have classes.

This is a little research to understand what foreigners think about Brazil (I would like to know if it’s true what the Brazilian media says). Please, if you answered this question, take a look in Wikipedia to see the information.
