Good point! To answer your question, it is because America is NOT evil.
That said, there are some evil Americans, just as there are evil people in every nation. There is corruption, but it exists everywhere. There are some policies that could be better. But every country has those.
America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. We try hard, and welcome those who want to be here legally to make a better life for themselves and their families. Very few other countries can say that. God Bless America.

First and foremost everyone in America technically is a immigrant. Either from the early settlers or via Ellis Island. Now to answer your question, America is seen as a place that has plenty to offer and compared to where some people are from, it's like utopia. People come as did the early settlers and immigrants to better themselves and escape the harshness of their own countries.

We build fences to keep out those who hate and want to destroy or change our freedoms and our liberties. We welcome those who want to come here legally.
Personally I believe that all the illegal immigrants who are fighting with us in the war against terrorism should get the first right to become citizens of The United States, and then all others who have and are already waiting on their citizenship to become legal residents in our country.

Why do you have to cross the river Styx to get into hades?
U.S.A is properous and a land of opportunity for people and that's why they want in.
How U.S interracts with the outside world is like the paraniod house owner who doesnt even like the postman. One wrong letter and he's "not with us, is against us." It's lovely political rhetoric like this that makes people think U.S.A is 'evil'

Because for most of the people who want to come to the USA, their own country is much worse. I guess that if you are leaving in an extremely poor country with no perspective, no work and no dreams, the USA still looks better. That doesn't change anything to their evilness.

because the evil label has been applied to our country by the foreign press as well as our own press.....no place is perfect, but this country is THE most Blessed country known to man and the fact that everyone either envies us to the point of hatred, or will die just for a chance to live here attests to that.

Because those that think this country is evil are the Democrats (socialists). If they don't like our constitution and our way of life, they should move up north to Canada.
