They have been fighting since India gained independence from Britain in 1947 when the Muslims carved out a part of India as its own and became what is known as Pakistan. It is Hindu vs. Muslim sectarian violence and both countries are wrong.

INDIA and PAKISTAN are always fighting. It is true. Both are wrong.
1.Certain politicians on both sides believe in hatred as they can survive only by flaming enmity between groups/sects.
2.To divert the people's mind from the failure of their misrule
and the after math of continuing poverty and illiteracy, they try "to make belief" it is due to other country's interference as war or terrorism.
3.Master countries of these two nations move coins in such a way that they always fight with each other so that a) they can sell obsolete weapons b)have their military base c) spoil their internal growth so as to keep them under their toes with a begging bowl.
4.Both sides of Kashmir people claim that they are neither
Pakistanis nor Indians but Kashmiries and they want independence from both. But to keep this unwilling people with them both spend beyond their capacity and making war
preparations with atomic weapons and rocket technology.
5.At the same time knowingly both are surrendering huge mass of land to China. A war is imminent with China for both of them if they resist China's land grab.If India's economic growth reaches a stabilising level ,it will be disturbed by a war by China as happened earlier and sweetly power nations will watch the fun.
People at the helm of affairs do know every thing on both sides of the fence. They are helpless.

religion before the british came, during the mughal empire, every religion was given an equal voice, hindus, muslims , jains, because the mughals realised that the only way to make india strong was to unite all ethnicity's but when the british came, they turned everyone into backstabbers, muslims didn't trust hindus, hindus didn't trust muslims...etc, they did this because that was the only way they could defeat and take over the large and moderately powerful subcontinent, so when the british were taking over india, there would be indians fighting and killing each other, and over time the religious hate has escalated punjab was not unaffected, during partition, there were many sikhs and muslim displaced, there were no peaceful period of migration, while muslims were moving to bangladesh and pakistan, the homes of muslims who were not moving were burned down same thing happened with hindus in pakistan, however in bangladesh, hindus were not forced out much, because after partition, 25% of bangladesh population was hindu, why should bangladesh become part of india? when there are separatist groups all over india, from gujarat to kashmir to assam, there are people calling for independence. and bangladesh isn't doing so bad, even if there is room for improvement, it isn't doing so bad

The fact that they are two separate countries is wrong. It was once one country. During India's revolutionary years, their were tensions between Hindus and Muslims, political leaders decided to send all the Muslims to the area which is now pakistan, and all hindus to the area that is now India whether that is their regional homeland or not. Now, at least in india, Hindus and Muslims live happily side by side.....political leaders are retarded however and will never change.

We're both wrong (India and Pakistan). I dont know what the solution is, but since we'll never have both sides say sorry at the same time, it will take one side to take the first step. It seems both are too worried about looking weak to do that.

Pakistan is wrong. They have no sense. They have jihadists who kill indians because they are a different religion. They also want India's land. India was nice enough to share half of Kashmir (disputed land) with them but they want the whole thing. That is what the ware is over.
Jai Hind.
Hindustan Zhindabad.
Pakistan Murdabad.
