And several wounded veterans were at my house. And we remembered all our fallen comrades. We honor their sacrifice and are grateful for the service of all.
Without them, we would have no barbeques and no adult beverages.

I actually spent yesterday by myself. For some reason I never get invited to the Barbques. While Im on the subject, I also spent my birthday, christmas, mothers day, thanksgiving, and the fourth of july by myself. That definitely wont make a person bitter.

yes in fact after some ceremonies at the National cemetary here a group of us went over to the nearby VA hospital and visited vets

No, actually spent it with a soldier that just got back from Iraq and his family. I have known this soldier since he was a child.

I began my Memorial Day as I always do, attending a memorial service my volunteer group conducts. We also attended Fleet Week earlier last week.
