King Obama says that will be one of his requirements if he is elected that every individual will be required by his health program to have insurance. Doesnt this sound like communism mixed in with socialism?

King Obama? You have got to be kidding! We have but one King and that is King George. All people deserve the right to have health care! Even a child who's parents are working hard at Min. wage jobs! Republicans just don't get this kindness thing do they? Health care has noting to do with communism or socialism! It is health care! You would understand if you lost that well paying job. It would hit home then!

Well its simply socialism and remember the Communist call themselves socialist by the way so you can call it whatever but its socialism.

Just to point out something someone said the ER is full now with people who can't pay. Listen I don't know Obama plan but sounds like National healthcare and the government pays for those in the ER now who don't have insurance and they will pay under under andy National Healthcare Plan so what is the difference? Also under a National Healthcare plan will we even be able to get into a ER? Great example when I was a kid we didn't have any health care....we went to the doctor but for a lot of part my mother was the doctor. Now I have health insurance and any time my kids sneeze it seems my wife is running them to the doctors office. People die in Canada waiting to get operated on because everyone is running to the doctor since its "free". Those who have the money come to the US and pay themselves to see a specialist since they have to wait monthes otherwise.

Also I need to say right now and I do support this or at least its the best we have for now. Not sure if under federal government but I know my state has a plan that all children without health care and low income can see a doctor and the state will pay for it. Also no one can be turned away from ER.

Last I don't know the answer but I would guess a lot of the problem is government in health care drives up the cost and everyone looses. And that is my simple answer.

Possibly the statements he makes are a little rough around the edges, but the concept is generous in its nature. Canada does it, and it works. With nearly 50% or more legal citizens in the United States without welfare and without insurance of any kind, I believe our country could deal with a break every now and then. Hillary actually poses the same solution, she just says it differently and means the same thing.

No matter what you call it, the good citizens with true heritage within this country are screwed by the illegals and blood-suckers that take every benefit and decent job that could earn a decent family a living and the money to pay for it. Why would you knock this no matter what the ism?

If the person you're referring to is Barack Obama, and the health plan would be mandatory, that sounds fine to me. Our emergency rooms are overflowing with people unable to pay, because they couldn't afford preventative treatment. We have millions that make choices every month of food, or prescription medicine.

If universal health care isn't a good idea and not what an advanced and civilized culture would have, what would be your solution?

I would double check who really bombed the pentagon. Conveniently all the cameras that faced the pentagon "were not working" at the time. The attack came from within so we would have justification to invade Iraq. Wake up, that was Bush's doing, not Obama's, and he is not a Muslim, do some research. His mother was an Atheist, his step dad was Muslim.

What's he going to call it? Medicaid? All we need is another government controlled health care system that provides shitty care for everyone. Why not vote for Ron Paul who is a doctor and might know more about health care than Obama. Did Obama ask the people who don't want insurance? ...Ooops!

The only way to do that is to offer state sponsored insurance! That means higher taxes!

I for instance have no insurance - and no money to pay for insurance as I am barely getting by on my pay now. There is no money for insurance. Medicaid denied me even tho' I only have $500 income each month.

Doesn't sound like either. If it was socialism you'd pay more taxes and get free/partially state sponsered healthcare - instead you're just required to get insurance which everyone should have anyway.
