Do you agree that the Minimum wage needs to be set with a cost of living increase set forth with it?

Government Jobs have it?

And do you agree/disagree that it is necessary due to the fact that Most, not all, companies pay the lowest wages they can get away with, instead of paying a person for length of service and skills learned in the job.

Also, Thought on Mandatory employee health insurence being offered by companies with over 25 employees.

I moved a car of a friend of mine for a practical joke.

Basically we were in class in college, and when we were leaving a friend handed me this guys keys and said "itd be funny if you moved his car".

I moved his car from one car park to another one literally around the corner. Myself and my friends all found this very amusing but the person who owned the car didnt see the funny side and threatened to tell the police I was joyriding his car, driving without a licence and driving his car without permission.

Im 18 from Northern Ireland and was wondering, in reality, what the worst that can happen to me is.

Thanks :)

This is in response to the whole Nazi Flag burning situation.

Far-leftist means the parties involved are probably pro-facist, which doesn't equal liberal democrat.

If Syria started to stockpile nuclear arms, or if Lebanon allowed Russia to deploy tactical ICBMs on their soil, the UN and the United States would go bonkers. But when Israel stockpiles nuclear armaments, violates the U.N. charter on Human Rights, and unjustly attacks the civilians of other nations, they are given a pass?

Not only will they not believe the mainstream media, historians, economists, universities, academia, courts, and polling companies, etc, etc,

but now they won't even believe well established government organizations like the Department of Treasury or scientific organizations like the American Meterology Society. Only the right-wing pundits "tell it like it is".

BELOW ARE OFFICIAL STATEMENTS OF WELL ESTABLISHED SCIENTIFIC ORGANIZATIONS ON MADE MADE GLOBAL WARMING.

Iran has kidnapped 3 Americans and charged them all with spying. One worked for some left-wing George Soros organization, so clearly they are not spies. What if they are found guilty and executed or imprisoned? Between this and Iran developing nuclear weapons, what is the liberal answer for this problem? Iran clearly is pressing for war, so how do liberals deal with this?

The liberal media was paying Mr. Chavez a compliment. He would have more reason for outrage if CNN likened him to President Bush and the Republicans...Liberals think Al Qaeda are just people like you and me...mothers and fathers...blah, blah, blah

IOWA CITY, Iowa Oct 26, 2004 — The Bush administration is trying to stifle scientific evidence of the dangers of global warming in an effort to keep the public uninformed, a NASA scientist said Tuesday night.

"In my more than three decades in government, I have never seen anything approaching the degree to which information flow from scientists to the public has been screened and controlled as it is now," James E. Hansen told a University of Iowa audience.

Hansen is director of the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York and has twice briefed a task force headed by Vice President Dick Cheney on global warming.

Hansen said the administration wants to hear only scientific results that "fit predetermined, inflexible positions." Evidence that would raise concerns about the dangers of climate change is often dismissed as not being of sufficient interest to the public.

I thought Fox News had a STRONG Republican bias, and that everything they reported on furthered the Republican Agenda.

And yet they gave Michael Moore's new movie "Sicko" a FANTASTIC review:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,273875,00.html

Last I heard, Moore was NOT a Republican. So, could it be that Fox News is REALLY unbiased, and maybe it is the LIBERAL news programs that paint them that way?

Or, do you think (and the Liberals are going to love this one) they are only doing it to trick us into believing they are unbiased? Those scoundrels!

Or maybe reality has a Conservative bias! I know this sounds dumb also, but I have heard Liberals use this as an excuse for MSNBC.

So, why is Fox News giving this movie such good reviews, if they are part of the Republican machine? No matter what, I will rent it when it comes out on video (no way I'm giving Moore $15). If Fox News likes it, it must be good.

WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- A 24-year-old controversial presidential appointee at NASA has resigned his post amid accusations he lied on his resume about graduating from college.

George Deutsch, who told NASA public affairs workers to limit reporters' access to a top climate scientist and ordered the word "theory" be inserted on every mention of the Big Bang, resigned Tuesday, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

The resignation followed Texas A&M University's announcement that Deutsch, although once a student, had not received a degree in journalism as he claimed.

Several NASA scientists and public affairs officials said they had been pressured by Deutsch and other political appointees to limit or slant discussions of topics uncomfortable to the Bush administration.
