I moved a car of a friend of mine for a practical joke.

Basically we were in class in college, and when we were leaving a friend handed me this guys keys and said "itd be funny if you moved his car".

I moved his car from one car park to another one literally around the corner. Myself and my friends all found this very amusing but the person who owned the car didnt see the funny side and threatened to tell the police I was joyriding his car, driving without a licence and driving his car without permission.

Im 18 from Northern Ireland and was wondering, in reality, what the worst that can happen to me is.

Thanks :)

Just to add, the car was not damaged in any way and I have no previous convictions if this helps. I literally drove the car for two minutes for a practical joke, of which he did not see the funny side.

Thanks :)

you could go to jail.. if the person involved wants to push it, you could be in serious trouble. let this be a lesson to you, if you skate through this, leave other peoples property alone.

Well really nothing can happen. Police go by what they see. IF the police didn't see anything then they cant do anything. Also its not like the car was stolen or damaged. I think the friend was just mad. Police will just tell him to keep an eye on his keys. Thats pretty much it...

the biggest clue it somewhat is you have never been to his place...that contraptions off the bells and whistles. he's married and does not desire you bothering him anymore with the aid of fact of that. he's someone and a male slut for doing this to you. Sorry for the language, yet while adult men try this to ladies that do start to have emotions and that they are married it somewhat is faulty. This basically telling you that, could desire to help you recover from him incredibly darn right away. He additionally basically used you, and your emotions have been given what he needed and then stated bye bye. it somewhat is faulty however the way he dealt with you became into not intense high quality in any respect. you do not basically use human beings and toss them away like a chew of paper that's strictly what he did to you. He basically needed what he could desire to get then the gig is up. this could desire to be adequate which you would be able to not experience something for him. i'm sorry he broke your heart. You discovered a valuable lesson nevertheless. If a guy does not desire you at his place....he's married. He could desire to handle you with the respect, kindness and dignity you deserve and if that's not there toss the guy to the shrink. First and final date. i'm sorry this occurred..whether it's time to enable bypass. you appear to be a intense high quality individual, and have faith me you will discover somebody plenty greater useful than this individual. I desire you each and all of the perfect. enable it bypass. the way he treats you is faulty. do not call him, text fabric or hardship him anymore. basically start up going out at the same time with your human beings returned and do something else to get him off your suggestions.

#1 I would not think that this guy would press charges and if he did the worst that could happen is you could be charged with grand theft auto----class 1 felony----driving with suspended/no license----class 3 misdemeanor--------what will happen----nothing----maybe some community service from the judge to teach you a lesson

The right lawyer could probably twist it into an automobile theft case if your friend decides that's something he wants to pursue.

Why you would do that to a friend is beyond me.
