I'm going to California for the summer, and I'm traveling by plane, but I have a greencard so do I still need a passport?

Nope. Travelling within the US, you'll need photo ID to get through security, but not a passport. You should carry your green card with yout at all times though.

The answer is no. If you have an INS151 ("Greencard") that is you perminant residency card. You are required, however by law, to keep this card with you at all times. Technically you will require a state issued identification, or your passport will do.

A passport is NOT required for domestic travel. However, some government-issued photo ID is required to get past the security checkpoint at the airport.

No you dont need a passport. You will need a government identification such as a drivers license. If not you can use your green card.

Nope. If you leave the country you will need one to get back.

You don't need neither green card nor passport.
Just your drivers license.
