Before the 2006 election, Republicans controlled the White House, both houses on Congress, and had a majority on the Supreme Court. Why not ban abortion? The Supreme Court would have upheld the ban and overturned Roe v. Wade.

Could it be the Republicans need to keep abortion legal to keep the evangelical voters worked up?

And why aren't the evangelicals screaming about this? Wasn't this a huge betrayal by the Republican leaders?

Originally, there was a binder where you would sign in and out when delivering to this company. Now they have a computer set up where you touch the screen, and enter your name, your company, delivery or pick-up, and you have to scan your drivers licence. I think that's a violation of privacy. Local shop keepers tried this to help with stopping minors from buying smokes, but the Privacy Commission put a stop to this. What is the law concerning this?

Taking pictures making and exploiting people for their dignity and providing photos just for the buck. The invasion of ones privacy is against the constitution. What will it take to legally stop paparazzi invading the privacy of others and really attempting to destroy their reputation, and their lives.

Senator XXXXX,

I'm disturbed, to say the least, by your vote for cloture on the Bush-Kennedy-Kyle "No Illegal Alien Left Behind Act of 2007" ... better known as "comprehensive immigration reform".

I spoke with a woman in your office who told me you voted for cloture so that the issue could be debated. Could you please tell me which Senate rule forbids debating the issue before the cloture vote? You see, I understand that your cloture vote actually limited debate on this monstrosity to just 30 hours.

I can't express to you, without resorting to extreme profanity and invectives, just how strongly I object to the amnesty and guest worker provisions in this bill. Then, at the request of the White House, the requirement that illegal aliens pay back income taxes as a condition of their amnesty was left out of the bill. "It would be too hard for the IRS to figure out how much they owe," is what White House press secretary Tony Snow said.....(continued)

First off, I want to say I am not bashing Christians, because I myself believe in God. The question I want to ask is, why do Christians judge other people when in the bible it says not too. I know that we all judge others in some way, shape or form. But why do people feel they have the right to tell other people it's morally wrong to have an abortion or to have a same sex marriage. We are not God, so who are we to say what’s right and wrong. Honestly, is it your any of your business? I think people should be allowed to do whatever they want as long as it’s not causing harm to anyone else.
You don’t have to condone abortion or same sex marriages, but you shouldn’t have any say so in if it’s wrong or right.

Also, do you think it’s a good idea to mix your religious beliefs with your political views?

Note: I am not generalizing; I am talking to those who do it.
