#1. Only sentence people to die who are convicted with DNA evidence, or caught on film. This prevents even 1 innocent person from being put to death.
#2. If you are convicted using DNA evidence, you do not get any appeals. you cannot appeal DNA anyway, so why bother. This will save millions in tax dollars
#3. From conviction to death will be less then 6 months. Without appeals, there is no reason to kepp them alive.
#4. Death will be from a gun shot to head, while the convict is lying in a grave. No mess, no fuss, and its quick. This will also save millions in tax dollars.
#5. Insane or retarded means nothing. If convicted under the terms above, you still die.

Collectively this will save the country 100's of millions of dollars, and let prosecuters focus attention other places. What do you think?

Immigrants, Welfare, and Work

According to this study, immigrants, both legal & illegal, pay more in taxes than they get in welfare.

However, this study is 5 years old. The one immigrant group that receives more than they give is the elderly. The family reunification preference was increasing the proportion of elderly immigrants. I think we need open borders, but no old-age pensions for immigrants. If they want to re-unify with their famililes, let their families support them.

My son is living with me for the 2nd semester of college.(poor grades 1st sem., he has turned it around) The court decree says my ex should pay a 1/3 of room and board. She has send nothing. She should also provide 1/2 of the money for car insurance and the first $250 for health costs. Nothing.

How do I collect? I would like to keep lawyers out of this. No sense in giving them $500. Or could I have her paid my fees.

Anyone have something similar?

I'd like an objective answer. I dislike Clinton, but I don't really have any good reason. I'll admit that, apart from the Lewinsky scandal, I don't know enough about him to say I dislike him as a president.

So, I want to know, from liberals especially, what he did that made them like him. No animosity and no flames please. I'm not looking for reasons to dislike him unless there are good reasons.

Whatta ya got?

seen as worse than pedophiles and murderers? I have noticed that a lot of people on here seem happy when an illegal immigrant gets shot or just generally harmed? Why is this attitude being developed towards this group of immigrants? I know they "committed a crime," but even thieves have basic human rights.

Thankfully I'm not in a situation currently to really need to worry about this...but I thought I'd ask just in case it ever comes up.

If a soldier has some kind of emergency at home while deployed to Iraq...something to warrant emergency leave...would that leave affect the R&R (mid deployment leave or whatever people call it) they already have planned?

Illegal in America

Memorial Day is an important moment in remembrance of those brave and women who have died for the preservation of freedom that we cherish in America. Many Americans visited memorials set fourth throughout the nation. From New York to Los Angeles walls are engraved with last names like Johnson, Mitchell, Jackson, Nguyen. In this wall you will also find names that end with Ramirez, Lopez, Jimenez, Ruiz. All these names are symbols of pride for us. These names of these heroes have given the ultimate sacrifice fighting the Global war on Terror. It’s very probable that some of the people who have died in combat have parents or relatives who are here illegally. Are we going to send John and Ken to knock on the door and have to say the following, “We regret to inform you that your son or daughter died in combat, we are very sorry. Now we have to deport you back to you’re nation of origin.”
The debate for Immigration reform has been heated up by racist entities like John and Ken from KFI radio in Los Angeles. These shock jocks like to dehumanize the Hispanic people just like the Nazi’s dehumanized countless Jews before executing them. John and Ken, want America to think that Hispanics don’t value education, which is simply irresponsible and hateful. This rhetoric is exactly what we don’t need in this tenuous debate. The only way the Immigration issue will be solved by comprehensive Immigration reform PERIOD!
I am all in favor of building a wall, therefore keeping out Terrorists and criminals from our shores. However, I am not in favor of persecuting and verbally lynching these people like KFI Radio constantly advocates on it’s airwaves in order to gain ratings. Thank you to President Bush for his leadership in this divisive issue. And Thank you to all Americans for supporting those people who are in fact Americans!!

I've seen a lot of press photos of the Bush boys (sr. & jr.) holding hands and embracing these Arab oil barrons. Just seems kind of fishey to me, I mean, isn't Ossama Bin-Ladden a member of this royal family? And what ever happened to the idea of hunting down this murdering terrorist. Is this no longer a priority? I guess not. Maybe the war in Iraq is more important . . .Hey, wait a minute, those two countries (Saudi Arabia & Iraq) have never really gotten along now have they? As a matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken, I think they're more like sworn enimies. So does this mean that the U.S. is involved in this conflict for the benifiet of Bush's oil dealin' buddies? I thopught this was a " war on terror " and if so, how could we over look Saudi Arabia? I've heard that they have a few terrorist organizations there. Wassup wit dat?

Who supports hillary clinton's decisicon to evacuating the troops in Iraq? you can explain why if you like, I am supporting her becuz the war in iraq it was the "bushes game" to put their hand on iraqs oil the "bushes" war is not americas war, the only people who benefited out of this war are the bushes and theyre oil empires and corporations, but they are trying to make all of america pay for it, and america has already payed dearly. I am just saying my opinion and u are free to urs thanks for your time.

Do you think they will try to become citizens or just get legal? Some cities have already stopped check points for drunk drivers because too many illegal were being caught. Some are no longer enforcing license on vehicles. If we don’t enforce illegal immigration how many other laws must we stop enforcing!
