I've seen a lot of press photos of the Bush boys (sr. & jr.) holding hands and embracing these Arab oil barrons. Just seems kind of fishey to me, I mean, isn't Ossama Bin-Ladden a member of this royal family? And what ever happened to the idea of hunting down this murdering terrorist. Is this no longer a priority? I guess not. Maybe the war in Iraq is more important . . .Hey, wait a minute, those two countries (Saudi Arabia & Iraq) have never really gotten along now have they? As a matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken, I think they're more like sworn enimies. So does this mean that the U.S. is involved in this conflict for the benifiet of Bush's oil dealin' buddies? I thopught this was a " war on terror " and if so, how could we over look Saudi Arabia? I've heard that they have a few terrorist organizations there. Wassup wit dat?

There is both a business and a personal relationship between the Bush family and the bin Laden family. The bin Ladens are a very rich family, so wealthy they recently refinished and refurbished Mecca, the holiest place in the Muslim religion. The Bush family has been their guest when they have visited Saudi Arabia. Truthfully, many influential people have stayed at the bin Laden home, including Jimmy Carter. But the Bush-bin Laden friendship has been very close.
At one time, the Bush's and the bin Laden's were connected in a business relationship with the Carlyle Company, a huge international corporation which dabbles in all sorts of things, such as weapons manufacturer and airport security devices.. Since 9/11, however, both names have been removed from the public corporate records. Whether they secretly maintain this business relationship is unknown.
It is not beyond a stretch of the imagination to consider the fact that this personal relationship may have something to do with the lackadaisical approach to finding bin Laden. How many of us would like the task of capturing or killing a friend's wayward child? But this is just conjecture and is not fact.
What is fact is that someone in the higher echelons of government did assist the bin Laden family members in leaving the United States directly after 9/11, the only airplane allowed into the airspace. It is not known whether or not the FBI was able to question this group about their knowledge of Osama's whereabouts before they left.
Fifteen of the 9/11 suicide bombers were Saudi Arabian. The truth is, Saudi had many, many schools for young boys who were taught only two subjects, the Koran and Hate America. These schools have supposedly been closed since 9/11, but no one knows this for sure.

You act like this is new information....I have known about this for a very long time. Bush owned an oil company called Arbusto...he had ties to the Bin Laden family with his company...(the rest of the Bin Ladens are not extremists). As for why they left the country? I can give a natural answer...during times of turmoil....get the **** out.I'm not a conservative defending Bush, nor a Liberal flaming him...I am just stating a few facts. I am by no means a Bush fan...but who says you can not own an oil company with a Saudi family? Wouldn't that be the most practical region of the world to own an oil company with someone? If anyone cares to know I did not get this from Fahrenheit 9/11... I don't view biased media (although it was about a cause I do not support Bowling for Columbine was at least somewhat informative), but this has been well documented throughout the years...but who cares? It is no big deal....the big deal we need to worry about is sitting in the oval office as we type.

The Bushies sold the Iraq War as being part of the Wsr on Terror, manipulating our outrage over 9/11 and desire for retribution. Iraq had nothing to do with it, and if we really want to get back at someone, there would be more justification for having attacked Saudi Arabia. But thet're our FRIENDS! At least, they're the Bush's friends. And business partners in the Carlyle Group.
