Get a court order for visitation. Then your ex will be held in contempt of court if she doesn't allow you to see them. This should have been done when the child support was addressed.

Yes because they are your children regardless of the fact that their mother is not being a very good mother for that matter. The kids should still get their support from you because they are innocent and have nothing to do with the problems that you have with your ex-wife. Go through the legal system and fight for your rights as a father. Times are changing and the law is no longer just on the side of the mothers any more. You have every right to see your children but don't deprive your children of their support because you will only be punishing them and not their mother.

Yes. The obligation to pay child support is independent of the right to visit children. There is generally an order of court providing for either shared custody or visitation by the father.
If the children's mother refuses to permit access of the father, she can be held in contempt. However, you must bring the matter to the court.
If you don't pay child support, you could have a bench warrant issued against you, wages garnished, and the like.

Oh yeah......If you dont. Then you will go to jail. All the judge will tell you is that visitation is between the parties. Once you get in the system.....You are in it for the long haul. Heres the other side of it. Im a single father of 6 that gets no support. Thats because. All these liberal feminists who preach that women should be on the same playing field as men dont take into consideration that the courts see it......Poor poor women.Hurt the man. Whats sometimes good for the goose isnt sometimes good for the gander.

The judge will or has ordered both parties to act according to the court order. If you haven't been there yet then go to the family court 's court clerks office and tell them your situation. They will give you the proper paperwork and even will help you fill it out. You don't need to get a fancy lawyer for that (but later you should get one if you are divorcing or she challenges you with a lawyer herself) Oh, and pay the support regardless because it will make you look responsible to the court and they will just tack it on later anyway.

Montreaux, Jackie, he didn't say the courts denied him visitation, he said the mother denied it, HUGE difference. Yes, you still have to pay child support, but take the mom back to court to get your visitation rights.

their mom does not get to decide if you get to see them or not, the court system does, and if you don't have visitation rights, then the court found you an unfit father for one reason or another, but if the court gave you visitation rights and their mom has stopped you from seeing them in some way then I would contact my attorney and get her back in court. but no matter what the circumstance you need to pay for your kids! why should they go without because of their mom, don't make this divorce their fight, your fight is with their mom and not them, be a real man and take care of your kids!!

Yes, you do. You are responsible for supporting your own children - no matter what.
The mother is NOT permitted to deny you access to your child. Get a lawyer, go to court and establish visitation. If she doesn't comply, they will lock her butt up and give you the child.
