Of course military say they want to stay and finish. Is it an option to say anything else? I live close to ft. campbell and my experience is when in the military they say what is expected of them....once out they speak the truth. All I see out of Bush and all I saw before he was elected was a man hell bent on using our young men and women as his personal toy soldiers. How can anyone support a man that refuses to listen to anyone but himself. Is that the kind of person you have as a friend, someone who is always right? I'm guessing not so why would you want a person like that running your country.

Option 6 is pathetic because in that type of society you are going to end up with a dictator to some degree. Does this mean that in 5 years after the war has ended and they have a dictator that we are moraly obligated to return to over throw this dictator? How nieve.
4 is my answer..all though 5 is good as well.

None of the above.
He's physically incapable of admiting he was wrong; he has no regard for human life; he has no respect for reality, but lives in a fantasy world.
It's a combination of the 3.
It has nothing to do with any of the reasons you gave.
He hates democracy, BTW -- can't at all stand the fact that he isn't an absolute ruler.

He cannot pull out now. Doing so would admit we are not actually at war in Iraq and that we are just occupying it. He also cannot pull out until the paperwork on the Us having 30 years of rights to the Iraqi oil wells is approved. He also needs most of the military to be deployed when, under imminent threat to attack by OBL, he can declare Martial Law for our own protection.

Rice said "because they asked us to be there". You know, to help them fight terrorism. What they don't have the mental capacity to grasp is that those people are defending their country from invaders (US) and they don't have the money for a military that we do, so they use terrorism as a war tactic. Terrorism is not an ideology, it is a tactic.

I'll go with option 6. Because it's our responsibility to help the Iraqi's get an organized government structure and be able to police themselves before we leave so we don't foster an atmosphere which will welcom another crazed dictator. With your questions, it's just so easy.
