Ha ha. Tie Osama to it before it's dropped. Like in "Dr. Strangelove". Paint a smiley face on the nose and make the bomb out of pork products.

I think you don't know a thing about nuclear weapons and the destruction it causes - nor the aftermath.

Perhaps you need to spend some time on the internet and do some reading about it. If a nuclear weapon was dropped on Tehran, it would eventually kill millions of people not only in Iran, but also in the surrounding countries. The "nuclear rain" and fallout would kill many more in Europe and across Asia due to being exposed to radioactivity. The remnants of the radioactive cloud would eventually cover over the South Pacific Islands, Hawaii and the U.S. causing millions of illness related to radioactivity. In addition, the country of Iran and some surrounding areas would be uninhabitable for hundred of years - perhaps thousands of years depending on the weapon detonated.

If you want to get an idea, read about the nuclear meltdown at the Chernobyl plant in Russia..... and that was just a nuclear plant with no explosions.

Nukes are the worse weapon that a professional military has at it's disposal. The essence of effective military force is precise directed violence. You do not get much further away from that than a nuke. If Iran wants a nuke or two why not give them a couple along with clear instructions on what will happen if they ever use one. Maybe it will make them feel like they are one of the grown ups.

Politics aside- It is never a good idea to set off a nuclear weapon in the world we all have to live in. Nuclear fallout is unpredictable and you would be looking at problems for others who did not "ask for it"

That would be rash, a textbook MAD scenario. Russia would unleash everything they've got.

I'm not, however, one of these would-be appeasers. Iran must be prevented from attaining nuclear weapons at all costs short of nuclear pre-emption.

I love the Idea, except I don't think China who has 130, and Russia who has almost as many as us, would agree.
